Amour salad, cheese assortment, poulet main. Simple but divine. Manager recommended a sulfite-free Pur Cot 2014. Spot on pairing. Super helpful and friendly staff. Great young crowd, high energy ambiance.

Been here twice for different occasions. The brunch experience was okay, service not too bad and food was fine. The baked maccaroni were nice. Came a second time for dinner this time. Service was completely horrible. Waited 20 minutes for the drinks to be brought. The food was tasteless and the menu didn't offer much. A pity as the place... More

Visited restaurant Amour Sunday for brunch and was very impressed with the food and atmosphere. We were a table of 5 and all agreed that the food was excellent, the brunch plates worked well and were well priced for the quality of food we were served. Great coffees and good service. Best brunch in Paris on a Sunday! Would definitely... More

The restaurant must have changed a lot sadly....I came to this restaurant few years ago and thought it was very good. Tonight I ordered a chicken and it for sure was the worst I ever had in paris. It was super small and really dry to the point that it was not eatable. My friend ordered the same plate and... More

We waited 20 min to get a table for three. In the end we go a table for two where we had to squeeze the three of us. The food take another 20 min to arrive. The chicken of my caesar salad was extremely cold but seemed to be roasted, disgusting. To make the experience even better, a waiter cleaned... More

Nice place nice food. A bit pricy but worth the scenery. Very nice decoration. The staff is not super warm but still polite. The place is absolutely perfect for a brunch

The first time we went to the Grand Hotel Amour... and this time we decided to try the original one. The place is nicer than the first one, especially the dehors outside. We ere located close to the entry door, then the position was disturbed by clients coming in and out. Despite of that, dinner was really nice. We had... More

If you happen to dine here, make sure you can get a table in the courtyard area, which takes you into a small haven of lush plants, and throws you out of Paris and into a micro Amazon. You feel like your dining not only with your company, but also with nature. Although, just to warn non-smokers that people will... More

My daughter read about this place on a blog. So we searched it out. It was very busy. We were put in the doorway to the conservatory. Under our table the floor was dirty. Fish and chips was yummy at Frenchie to Go in Rue du Nil, in fact it was the best I've ever tasted but at Hotel Amour... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
