Can never go wrong. Not too sophisticated or too fancy, a lot of real local are here and not much tourists. Classy restaurant with proper good food. Love the atmosphere the minute I walked in. Nice decoration of the old building since 1739.

We had lunch today. Everything was perfect. The food, the service and the atmosphere. Althogh there is no English menu, the waiter explain each dishwith a lot of patience . We ordered fua gra and frog legs as entrees, a sea bass and a peagion as main dishes. All dishes were absolutely amazing. You mustn't skip the chocolate suphle which... More

The restaurant is in an absolute marvellous setting, beautiful building and gardens. One of the best restaurant sites in Paris. The food was somewhat disappointing.Th crab salad was so mixed with carrots and other vegetables that it was hard to taste the crab itself. The pigeon was ok but there again it was hard to tell whether it was really pigeon... More

The service and ambiance was perfect. The food was disappointing. Since there was chicken in almost all the fish dishes there was little that my guest could eat on the menu. The kitchen prepared alternative dishes for my guest but these were uninspired. A good kitchen should not be cooking fish in chicken broth. We will not be returning.

I booked a last minute table to celebrate my husbands birthday and we were lucky as there was one table left. The experience from both tastebuds and service was fantastic ! The food was exquisite as was the wine. Extensive wine list for the connaisseurs and of course a knowledgable sommelier to assist. It's a Michelin star(s) worthy restaurant (do... More

Apicius mixes adventurous cooking with classic flavours - but everything has a point; none of this trying to be clever for clever's sake. We took my son there for his 21st, recommended by a french friend. Service is impeccable. OK, it's not cheap, but you don't expect that at this level. Portion sizes were generous and the six course tasting... More

Superb service and great food made with super fresh ingredients. The Chateaux Relais were the restaurant is located is beautiful and makes you feel distant from Paris. The wine list was complex but sommelier was more than happy to help you. We had Chateaux Palmer 2003 which was not very impressive given the price tag. Definitely a great gourmet experience... More

We sat in a small room, just five tables in there, ours was in a very comfortable and private corner. Degustation Menu is 180-200 Euros per person. Amuse Bouche to start of course– various small appetizers – a piece of smoked salmon, caramelized parmigiana, and few more. Les grenoulles (frog legs) sautéed were amazing, the best grenoulles I’ve tried in... More

Wow.... From drinks at the bar through dessert an amazing experience. The setting is unbelievable and the service is spectacular. It's as if we were set back a few centuries. Staff is excellent and spoke English but the menus are in French and either needed google translate or had them happily translate for us. Loved every minute of the dinner....
