This gorgeous restaurant dates from 1867 and the sophisticated interior is art nouveau in design. We came for a late lunch and chose the fixed price menu which was excellent value at €35.05 for 3 courses. We had the French onion soup for entree, followed by steak tartar for my husband and the confit of duck for me. Both were... More

We read on TimeOut that this place had the best French onion soup in Paris so we headed down to try it. We had no idea what it would be like, but we kind of wished we had gone somewhere else afterwards. The surroundings at Mollard are absolutely beautiful; the walls are decorated with glittering art nouveau mosaics and there... More

We had a great time and the personell was really nice and helpful. We ordered cheese and a onionsoup for staters, entrecote for main course. For our dessert we had chestnut pie. Everything was delicious and everbody was nice and helpful! The best restaurant we dined at. We recommend this place for anybody who likes good food and great service!... More

Some years ago I have been advised by one of my Parisian friends to visit this restaurant as a good place where locals go (not a touristic crap). It became one of my favorite places in Paris and I was trying to visit it each time I am in Paris. Last time I was there 2-3 years ago and it... More

I must have been Lucky looking at all the previous feedbacks... I went there twice in December and we found the seafood excellent, the service good and the atmosphere and environment very pleasant. The restaurant was full in both cases but we had enough room to feel comfortable and exchange quietly without involving the neighbours... very rare in Parisian Brasseries...... More

This is a very big old restaurant with excellent food . The drawback is the service , it is a bit too much !! Pushing , talking very fast as to ensure you do not understand what they say ... prices are VERY HIGH .

The seafood outside looks great and the venue itself is beautiful inside. The waiter was initially very friendly and helpful. The starters were good, we all had seafood, unfortunately the salad was dressed with a rather over mustarded dressing which slightly overpowered salmon, crabs, prawns etc. The main course of entrecote was excellent, as were confit of duck and two... Being a big fan of Parisian brasseries, I had to pay a visit to Mollard rue St Lazare. The dining room is amazingly beautiful. Service is slow and food was average. Bouillabaisse at 40 euros has to be perfect. Instead the fishes were not great, the croutons were not fresh and we had to ask for more soup. Oysters were... More
