This crowded little gem is like taken from a movie. The... More

I am American, but I live in France. I have been to Chez Paul before with my French husband. And, as the experience was so delightful each time, I decided to go back with an American friend. We had a lovely time, the food was wonderful, and the service was nice, as was the table. HOWEVER, when it came time... More

It is an authentic neighbourhood bistro serving honest, well-cooked food which includes staple dishes along with some more adventurous meals. The service was friendly, the prices reasonable and the whole evening was fabulous. This is a place we will definitely... More

Many good things on the menu to choose from, many recognizable items both for mainstream tastes and some that are not for the faint-of-heart but still classic French Cuisine

Yes, they speak some English, just ask for help with the menu. Yes, it's very old which give it character. Yes, in the winter in Paris, it's cold. If you traveled around at all in Paris during the winter, some places are cold, wear a jacket. Yes, the food is awesome. Leave your attitude and self-loathing at home and you'll... More

OK, wake up guys. This place has been around without tourists for decades, thank you very much. If you're going to visit as a tourist, adjust your attitude beforehand, as once you understand that you are basically an underclass of guest things go much smoother. Here's our guide to making it the best experience possible, based on our experience. First,... More
