Ok there maybe better burgers in Paris but you go to the coffee parisien for the ambiance more than the culinary experience. This one is located in a busy Parisian district not so far from the Luxembourg park and many shopping options. The best time to go their in for the Sunday brunch, beware it's a buffet but à la... Packed with students (and sometimes their professors) from the Sorbonne across the way, shoppers and locals, this crowded noisy restaurant is not for everyone. But once you've managed to climb into your seat and the table has been replaced in front of you, the food is as good as ever - I had spare ribs last week, a superb sauce.... More

Our family went out for something simple later than normal before heading to bed. We have been eating very well all thru our trip. We did not want anything fancy or far from our apt so we dropped into the Coffee Parisian after reading their very appealing menu in the window. It looked perfect and simple and tailored towards American... More

Modest and decent food. There was a light twist to the bread of our club sandwich and nice crispy cheese potato. Crostini was good with fresh vegetables and nicely cooked in the oven.. (Background music Alt J <3)

No wonder why this place is always packed. It opens at noon, gets full almost instantly until... well, I don't know, I've never seen that place only just a bit empty. Honestly one of the best american restaurant in Paris. I ate there maybe five times and whatever I ordered, I've always been delighted. Worth the wait if there is... More

Been going to this restaurant for 7 years, Sometimes it is the best Burger in Paris, sometimes it is too greasy, depends on how busy it is. If you are really hungry for American food they have it all. Their food is not very fresh but it tastes good, and it has Very nice Ambiance.

This restaurant was one of the few places open near our Hotel so we went in due to hunger pangs. It's called Coffee Parisien but it is having something of an identity crises. The place is full of American memorabilia? even the paper place mats have details of every American president. Not that Parisien then........ My friend ordered a chicken... More

We were looking for a place to have a real American brunch in Paris, and we have found the Coffee Parisien on Tripadvisor. The restaurant is quite comfortable, with small tables one next to the other. We tried eggs Benedict, eggs Norwigian and the club sandwich: everything was very good, as the original American recipes. I recommend the cheesecake, one... More

Great place that is decorated like a 50s diner. Burger and malts the whole 9 yards. The decor is US presidents. Great food and music. The manager/owner lived in America for a few years and spoke perfect English. I recommend it to anyone traveling from the States and want a bit of home.

This place was opened on Christmas Day and we were very grateful to staff who had to work that evening and made us welcomed. Cesar salad was bug and tasty and chili-corn-carne close to perfection. I like it hotter so Tabasco did the job. Overall not bad especially seeing them busy despite tough competition in this traditionally gastronomic part of... More

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
