Discovered this restaurant while strolling in St-Germain des Pres; inquired if they could adjust their meal for food allergy. No problem; service courteous, friendly, welcoming; the staff made us feel like we were regulars; best Maroccan meal I have had (tangine lamb with figs and nuts); good value for the price; will certainly go back before leaving Paris; strongly recommended

I had a dinner at this pretty elegant Maroccain style restaurant. Food is great and service is fair. Atmosphere is pretty elegant but not posh at all.

At the beginning of Saint Germain boulevard, you can find l'Atlas, this authentic North African restaurant. The couscous and tajine are very good. The staff is friendly. The decoration is well done. The Morrocan wine is good too. So it's a shot trip to Morrocco the time of your lunch or dinner.

A stereotypical French restaurant. Rude and sloppy service. Food was over cooked. Wait staff forgot how to speak English when we we asked them for the rest of our meal that they didn't bring. Not kid friendly. No high chair!! Way over priced. You can do better anywhere!!!!

Walking back to our apartment after a long day, we entered L'Atlas on Rue Saint-Germain without a reservation. They were kind enough to seat us and we realized that this was the first Parisian meal for which we were under-dressed. We had on our daytime tourist clothes, were hot and tired and they were kind. The staff was polite and... More

Paris is a city that is filled with fantastic ethnic food and this place proudly takes its place amongst them. The space is modest and simply decorated and the food will make you think you have been transported to North Africa. Do order some wine and a meze platter, sit back and let the taste sensations begin. Everything is bursting... More

Slightly pricey but the best tajines I've ever had, and there's a selection of original ones (apricot tajine!). Staff is extremely friendly. Although not all are fluent in English there's always one or two ready to help. Nice amuse-gueules as well.

We had fantastic "couscous maison" (served on Thursday evenings): couscous with dried fruits, plate of vegetables, plate of meats (lamb, chicken, merguez sausage). Well prepared indeed. Friendly and efficient service. Correct price. Recommended.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
