We went here for a delicious dinner and the waiter, Dadi was extremely accommodating when we couldn't read any of the menu. He helped us order fish soup, I had scallops and my husband had a pork chop; the desserts were both to die for. Great wine and ambiance.

The food was good and it's good value for money. Tables very cramped. We felt a bit rushed - arrived early and asked for ten minutes to discuss menu with an aperitif. Were told we could have five minutes! After dessert, with no advance warning we were told we had to leave as they wanted the table back. We asked... More

We decided on the fixed price meal for 38 euros. Everything was delicious. We were worried at first because the menu is listed on a chalkboard in French. But our waiter spoke English and patiently explained it all to us. We had sardines on toast, a duck entree, and the desserts of pot de creme and a chocolate mouse cake... More

We were visiting from the US and booked our reservation online a couple weeks ahead of time. We were excited to try this restaurant after reading many great reviews. After a 40min train ride that evening we arrived only to find out the restaurant was closed for a private party and they would not allow us to dine. The only... More

My husband and I dines here on our second night in Paris. I thought we might be in a bit of trouble as it was Saturday and we didn't have a reservation but we were shown to a table. Our lack of French language skills posed a challenge but they had a waiter who spoke English and took the time... More

We visited this neighborhood bistro tonight. for 38 euros per person, we each had a 3 course meal that was fantastic! The menu changes daily. Everything was fresh, well prepared and beautiful! The amuse bouche was a light pea puree with cream, entrée standout was thé feuillete with wild mushrooms and thé sauteed foie gras (supplément of 9E). All thé... More

l'Ourcine is a restaurant I have patronized for several years--before and after its hiatus. It's the favorite if a colleague of mine who is vaguely related to the chef. The emphasis is on fresh ingredients for a limited but well-balanced menu. There is a fixed menu at a very good price (38€) and the chance to enhance that with some... More

To me, one of the best restaurant in Paris to eat real modern/traditional food. The ambiance no fuss, service is excelent, I mean no snobbering, only excelent food.

We had a lovely evening at L'Ourcine! We were met with a warm welcome and a little bistro restaurant with a great atmosphere. Off the tourist track, but well worth a look. My wife is a pescatarian and we both found plenty on the menu that we fancied. There's no English menu, which is a good thing in my opinion.... More
