Rude staff! Couldn't enjoy my meal! That's all I have to say. There are much better restaurants in Paris where they appreciate their customers.

We ate at La Cordonnerie in October. The first night we enjoyed the meal and the treat of watching the chef work so much that we went back the next night. We ate a one of the small tables near the chef. There is also a larger room with more tables. The food was wonderful. My husband had the veal... More

A real treat to visit and one you will never forget. Very small, great food, reasonable prices. sit in the kitchen area if available. Hugo is very talented and the nicest. We have been going for ten years and it keeps getting better.

It is an adorable restaurant which fit completely with what I think of as a "classic" Parisian restaurant. I had a cucumber salad to start, and it was so good, but I couldn't even figure out how they did it. The veal Normandy that I had for my entree was fantastic too. There was one server and one chef but... More

Really nice waiter (Jeremy?) , and lovely to see the chef in action. All the quality of the food was top notch and I'd suggest to go here if you're after some rustic cuisine and some nice fries to top it off.

La Cordonnerie dates back to 1690 and serves cuisine de marché, fresh market food. There are fewer than 20 seats in this intimate space. NYTimes 2011 This is a small small 2 room restaurant that fills up by 8:30 in the evening. It is a two man show the chef in the kitchen and the waiter out front. We had... More

Very small welcoming restaurant with lovely helpful staff and excellent food. The menu had a great choice of meat and fish I really enjoyed the sword fish special! It is clear the chef has a good idea of flavours and combinations, everything we are was delicious and perfectly cooked. The wine list had a good selection with a range of... More

La Cordonniere provides excellent French cooking at reasonable prices especially around the 1st Arondissement. If there is a criticism is the limited fish / vegetarian choices that however is overshadowed by the best Pear Mousse I've ever eaten. Also an excellent wine list.

Took my tourists here (I'm a tour guide) as they were foodies. Everything was fairly priced and quality was exceptional. Starters around 10€ range, Entrees were 25€ range and dessert also 10euros range. I attach a photo of my veal in a mushroom sauce with perfect fries. My sole complaint was (don't laugh frenchies!) No ketchup. My dessert which I... More
