We first visited this restaurant in 2008. At that time it was the only Michelin starred restaurant in the 14th. Each time we visited we had nothing but positive experiences. In the interim, they either lost or gave up their star and we stopped going there. Fast forward to the summer of 2016 when I noticed that if you reservedg... More

In a cosy and classic atmosphere, the not very smiling patron and the charming waiter welcome you for a very good diner. Food is really very good, nicely dressed and perfectly cooked. Very french restaurant with very good french food. It is better to reserve as even on a Monday, which is usually a slow day, the restaurant was full.

The first time I visited la maison Courtine, it was by chance, because the restaurant I wanted to go to was full. I was quite nicely surprised. The food was very good, the ambiance of the restaurant is muted. The restaurant is organised on such a way that there are only a few tables around ours. The staff is really... More

We live just around the corner and we were so happy to find this restaurant for a chill Saturday diner. Place is very cosy and elegant. The food was delicious and very well presented! For 33 euros (starter and plate), I personally prefer to pay 10 euros more than in a normal brasserie and enjoy such a meal! Thank you... More

This was a business dinner so we were on a large table. The staff were helpful and discreet. Valet parking...always good in Paris! The food was delicious....I had crab ravioli which were so scrummy I practically licked my plate and the apple dessert was equally good! Definitely worth a re-visit.

I visited La Maison Courtine for a business dinner. The staff were very flexible as we waited for all the party to arrive, although I did find the Maitre d'hote to be a little curt. Once inside the restaurant I found it to be a tiny bit small - not a great deal of space between the tables, however our... More

I have eaten here over 7 times in past years and enjoy it every time. Simple menu, prix fixe is very reasonable, solid quality time after time. I will continue to visit when I come to Paris.

This restaurant has changed owners and cooks several times over the past few years. Once a one star restaurant its present owners have made it into a quality local bistrot with a good choice of tasty selections on the menu. With the 20% discount, proposed through La Fourchette, the fixed price menu only costs 30? for an entrée +plat +... More

Well run restaurant that rarely disappoints. I think we were a group of 12 and had been asked to pre-order our meal to ease the burden on the kitchen (sometimes an issue on arrival due to memory lapses). I think the only unsatisfactory element of the meal was the rather dismal selection of cheese presented to me on a plate... More

We have been going to La Maison Courtine for nearly a decade and have had above average to fantastic meals on these occasions. In November, we hosted a banquet for 20 people (most French) and were delighted that for such a large group, the food was very good. This was once a one star Michelin, but I think the costs... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
