You can't go wrong with any dish at Languedoc. I live around the corner and go here at least once a month. The food is excellent, especially the flambe chateaubriand steak sauce au poivre and any of the fish of the day. The decor is very charming and has an old-school vibe.

A neighborhood restaurant with better than expected service including quick delivery of our courses. My wife's salmon was flaky. My steak was flavorful and cooked en point. Wine is reasonably priced. English language menu is available.

On our way to the Pantheon, we stopped there for lunch. It was just before 2pm, so we asked if it was still ok to eat. The gentleman who welcome said there was no problem. We sat down, looked at the menu. Then, the waiter came back 2 minutes later, asking for our order. We said we kindly needed 5... More

I had the chateaubriand. It came very rare though I ordered in medium rare. They were nice about redoing it. Others had the cassoulet aver canard and I had a taste--very good. Pleasant service.

I ordered the pepper steak medium rare. It came almost blue rare/rare. I didn't complain but when they noticed me not eating they took it back to the kitchen. I got my original pieces of meat with new peppercorn sauce. They original meat was not more cooked. I asked for the bill and they insisted on taking it back yet... More

Three days later the menu with herring, frog legs(some of the best I have ever had), the cheese plate and house wine (a 37 and a 25) for26E......excellent. I don't understand how anybody can... I was introduced to this restaurant in September last year by my French hosts. On return in June this year, I returned twice more for dinner. A family run establishment, do try the both the wine and food of the region they come from. Truly exceptional ! Their profiterole completes a meal in the most satisfying way !!

Located in the southern 5th arrondissement (Pont Royal) far from tourist paths, this family run one room bistro serves up large portions of high quality, bargain priced Southwestern fare in a calm and spacious setting. The food is simply outstanding. Starters for two of chopped vegetables and artichoke hearts, plats of moist, crispy skinned duck confit with potatoes, and deserts... More

My mom and I went here after the recommendation of our B&B owner for the best escargot she knew of. She was spot on. The escargot were fantastic--- even my mom who hates strange food thought they were delicious. The highlight for us was our steak, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly delicious. I would recommend the chateubriand. It... More
