What can I say about this restaurant which could do it justice?!? An amazing place with one of the best atmospheres I have experienced in a restaurant anywhere in the world. The noise, the buzz, the chatter was just what I hoped I would find in Paris and this restaurant just didn't disappoint. We were seated next to 2 French... More

Upon Arriving at the restaurant we saw it was busy! Bustling with life tables on the pavement outside made it feel very welcoming.. when the waiter sorted us a table, he quickly bought us our menus and asked us about wine and what we liked ! We started off with an oxtail terrine with put lentils and a charcuterie board... More

We rushed to get to the restaurant since we were only able to walk from the Eiffel Tower to get there at closing time. They graciously let us stay to eat, but told us what we were having. No problem! They served us steak and duck. Both were excellent! Our server was very gracious. Not a touristy place at all.... More

Fantastic meal at this local restaurant. Intimate bistrot in side street not too far from Eiffel Tower. Busy and buzzy atmosphere and attentive service. Food was superb: cream of asparagus soup, boeuf bourguignon to die for and Cafe Gourmand with Tiramisu and Creme brûlée. Kir Royales and bottle of wine - all for 88 Euros. One of the best meals... The meal had the feeling of a home made meal. We spent four days in Paris and this was the best meal we had during our trip. We tried the chicken in sauce, the meat dishes our friends trued were very good. Quantity of food served was very good. We tried to go back but the were closed on Sunday.... More

on this place on my way back to the previous night's restaurant, and did not regret staying.without a reservation I was offered a table for an hour, which suited me. The three-course menu at EUR32 was great (two-course for 26). I had a terrine de lapin, followed by boeuf bourguignon and then a rice pudding. The terrine was fresh and... More

Here 2 years ago and twice this trip. Same quality and friendly staff. Camille was great suggesting dishes. Good English spoken. Loved the Beef Borgenion and Creme Brulee

This is a regular stop on every trip to Paris. You cannot go wrong with the beef beef bourguignon. However, if they have osso buco on the menu when visit I can recommend that VERY highly. OMG was it good! :-)

We went to Le Volant as a last minute decision for somewhere close to our hotel that had a decent rating. We were not disappointed. It's hidden down a little side road and when we got there, there were only a handful of people seated. We didn't have a reservation, but that wasn't a problem and we squeezed into a... More

Found this gem hidden away in a quiet street. Stopped in without reservations to find it packed, but they found a little table for us still. Service was very friendly and fast! Felt like we barely ordered and our food arrived. Loved the shared side dishes (rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, and creamy polenta) and everyone enjoyed their meal. By the... More
