In a city known for its cuisine, this place could only flourish in touristy Montmartre. The atmosphere is fun: small interior where you sit at tables running the length of the place, cheek-by-jowl with your neighbors. Those sitting against the walls have to climb over the tables, assisted by the staff. This place is frequented by study abroad college students,... More

The place has two long benches where eveyone is bunched up and crammed in together. The menu isn't really explained but is a flat rate and all that was really asked of us was "cheese or steak" for the fondue and which drinks we would like. These all may seem like negatives but they really aren't, they add to the... More

What a fun joint in this us! Locates in Mont marte not far from Sacre Coeur, this funky fondue joint offers a good mix of food and atmosphere. This is my third visit to here and I hope to continue the tradition. Good eats and a great way to mix with others visiting or native to lovely city of Paris.... More

Went with another couple for a fun night out. Expected a big scene, but on the Thursday night we were there it was empty - however we still had a great time. Wouldn't necessarily seek it out for the food...the meat was very good but the cheese looked like it was in a large vat of oil that never fully... More

This placed was highly recommended by a family member who lived in Paris for a few years. This place has also been around for 25 + years, and certainly has a different charm to it. What was so much fun was that the ladies sit on one side, which is only able to be reached by standing on the table... More

Loved the concept and the atmasphore here, really fun! However, we had the grumpiest waiter I have ever met! He hardly spoke and just huffed at us. He didnt explain the concept to us - he asks meat or cheese and then gives you either a meat or cheese fondue, not both! My boyfriend ordered us meat by mistake but... More

A truly original experience! with peoples names all over the restaurant who have visited, and being very cozy, there were lots of young people hanging out! Wine comes in a baby bottle, very entertaining, and the fondue is amazing! Such a great time with friends. Search up the restaurant ahead of time to check the hours so you can arrive... More

What a fun evening. Ladies wear shorts or slacks as you have to get helped across the table to eat. It is a small place but so nice. You are welcomed with a glass of Kirsh then we ordered beef fondue and cheese fondue. They are served with bread and dips for the beef. You glass of wine comes in... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
