In my many trips to Paris I would often stop in after hitting the local market for a few dozen oysters shucked on the sidewalk washed down with some cheap indifferent local wine while chatting up the many tourists who were lucky to find this...More

Authentic Parisian wine bar without the tacky tourist frills. Great wines with small tasty selection of nibbles, oysters if you lucky! Standing room mostly inside and out, with a couple of seats inside.

Service is a bit slow but reliable. Quality / price is worth it. I can’t say it’s the best cuisine I’ve ever had but it is certainly worth the visit.

Dropped in for pre dinner drink and was taken by the charm of the place. Oozed Frenchness. Great wine and a knowledgeable host and not expensive. Very busy with the crowd overflowing into the street.

We stopped in for the recommended oysters - didn't realize that they are only offered from September through April. In lieu, we ordered their grand plat of charcuterie and cheeses. Unfortunately, it was the worst dish we had during our entire trip to Paris. Cheese...More

A huge range of wines by the glass, lovely terrines and pates, cheeses and seafood. Really friendly staff. What more can you want from a place? I'm sure lots of tourists visit but it seems to cope superbly and maintain its essential character

One of the oldest wine bars in Paris, typical and true, not fancy and hipster - large selection of wines by the glass, more of natural tendency but not exclusively and simple and delicious snack to go with - cheese, cold cuts and alike. In...More
