I had a very enjoyable evening with my partner recently. We tried 5 or 6 different wines, all of which were really good and none of them over 4 euros a glass. We also had some cheese and meat which was good but not great. All in all a really cool place I would definitely check out if in the... More

This place was recommended to us as a nice traditional place to try lots of wines. We found it to be a very relaxed authentic wine bar. Staff were great and selected wines that suited our tastes. We will certainly be going again next time we visit Paris

We stopped by for oysters and wine. The crowd spills out from the bar to the streets putting wine and oysters on parked cars and windowsills. Loved the red wine and enjoyed the oysters (which you can choose from 5 sizes) that you can order right outside on the boardwalk. We had 12 oysters size 4 for 18 euros. Really... More

The charm of walking into a rustic bar catering to locals who are here for a drink and some bites. Absolutely charming. We had a bottle of wine and a plate of cold cuts and cheese. Not your regular fare - a rillette, a terrine of boudin noir, coppa and cheese.

Stopped by around lunchtime on a Sunday & the place was packed with people spilling out onto the street outside. Out the front you could buy fresh oysters - 5 different sizes & prices. By the time we got there the 2 smallest sizes had sold out. We bought a dozen size 3 for about €18 & you got bread... More

A must do for Paris together with La Fine Mousse. This is a great little wine bar with a mixed crowd and not on the main tourist track. Vast selection of wines and a few draught beers as well. Stand outside at a table on a warm evening or sit inside. Gets very busy. Check the opening hours.

Everybody pops in at this wine bar, takes a glass or two and leaves. There is not much place to sit, but you can always go out on the pavement along with pretty much everybody else. Go there around lunchtime (after a visit to the market at Place d'Aligre) and join the rest of the neighbourhood. The staff of this... More

Order your beer and wine by the glass or bottle, so many to choose. Pub style atmosphere, with drinkers on the street outside enjoying a drink. They serve some food, which looked good.

A trip to Paris would not be the same without a visit to Le Baron. An excellent choice of wines available by the glass at very cheap prices. You can also fill a litre bottle for less than 4 euros. Excellent value and well worth the trip to it. You can also visit Marche D'Aligre which is nearby.

Oysters and good wine on Sunday at noon in a friendly local atmosphere. This is my favorite ritual every time I'm in Paris. Love it!
