We tried this place and were delighted. We had the charcuterie platter to share, I then had the Choucroutte (yum!) and my partner had Steak Tartare which he thought was to quote "Super Bien" (Really good) and spiced the way that he likes it. My Choucroute was most tasty. I then had the Sorbet au Cerises with Kirsch. It is... More

I just felt like having choucroute to end the year 2016. I looked the place up online and the reviews were great. So I figured it seemed like a safe choice... and it was so much more. Foie gras for starter, and the choucroute grand-mère, what a delight! Do check it out. Just awesome!

Since the days I used to live in Paris this was my restaurant that I used to go to. The food is simple and good and the price is great for such a great place in Paris and on a main boulevard at first I thought it's another tourist trap restaurant but I'm glad to wrong. Alsace food at its... More

Nice place to discover the food from Alsace with a good selection of wine. Plates are generous. Close to shopping streets. They speak English!

The place is friendly, welcoming and has a wonderful bistrot atmosphere. The food is wholesome and excellent; we had pissaladiere and a mushroom macaroni for starters, cooked beautifully, and the rognons with mustard sauce were delicious. The Alsace inspired menu is traditional French, with very large portion. The wine recommendation from the chef was perfect. The service is friendly, a... More

We were starving on our way back to our hotel and decided to stop in for dinner here. I ordered one thing and received some sort of organ meat which was inedible--and not just because I don't love organ meat. It was tough and gummy and hard to eat. My friend ordered the charcuterie and salad and said it tasted... More

We were warmly welcomed (especially eating soon after 7 p.m.). Everyone was hugely friendly. The food was what it claimed to be - not haute cuisine, but we didn't want that. Portions were huge - particularly the choucroute (it is an Alsace-based menu) - and the food was very enjoyable. Service was helpful and understanding and willing to cope with... More

We arrived very hungry at about 10pm and were welcomed in. We don't speak very good French but the staff were very polite and helpful. Food was really good, we both had the lamb confit and the cafe gourmand for dessert, portions were huge! So impressed that we came back the next night, again the food and service were excellent....
