This place became our local on our holiday in Paris. It's good for breakfast, for drinks and for dinner. The decor is cosy as nd the staff very friendly and helpful with translation. We enjoyed a good dinner here although I wouldn't recommend the selection of "Tapas" as they were all deep fried in batter or breadcrumbs and were quite... More

We first came for the absinthe. The extremely friendly staff set us up and explained (in English) the process. We were so impressed we came another night for dinner and were happily surprised by the excellent food. I had the mushroom risotto with chicken - positively heavenly! My partner had the grilled veggie burger and fries, also delicious. We will... More

Choosing to eat at La Fee Verte helped me conquer two fears: 1: this was my 1st time eating solo in a restaurant in France, and 2: this was my initiation into the whole absinthe ritual. For nervous nellies like myself, be assured: the uber-friendly staff will have you feeling like a local by the time you leave. My Caesar... More

Came for the absinthe, came back for the food and the service. Came for dinner on a Sunday night. Service with a smile from the lovely lady with the curly blond hair. Infinite patience for my Franglais and happy to make jokes. Food was outstanding. Soup a l'oignon in that classic, brilliant Parisian style and boeuf bourgignon so good I... More

We were staying just up the road and stumbled upon La Fee Verte by chance - so glad we did. They serve the best boeuf bourguignon we have ever tasted. The staff are all fabulously friendly and down to earth and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Paris.

My wife and I purposely went to this place at my request. As it seems to be one of the few places to enjoy the proper preparation of Absinthe. But what we got was far more. The restautant itself was very quaint and it made me feel like I wasn't in some Absinthe-tasting-tourist-trap. It felt like a very long-standing, local... More

We heard this was the place to try absinthe so we called in during our stay near Bastille. We were welcomed into this friendly bar and they helped us choose which of the many flavours to have, one was like Pernod, the other a real firewater! Was a fun experience. We didn't eat there but the food looked good

If you are going to to Pere-Lachaise Cemetery or visiting Bastille area La Fee Verte is right in the area. It's a great little area with lots of shops and other establishments. We went in between lunch and dinner or we would have ate here too. We read that La Fee Verte is the place to go especially for it's... More

This is a lovely little bar/bistro that has a large choice of drinks and food. As part of my first visit to Paris i wanted to try Absinthe and there were a lot to choose from. The waitress was lovely, very helpful and spoke excellent English. As someone that loves the taste of aniseed i tried one that was quite... More
