Very quiet place, but a wonderful find. I believe that it under new ownership, we got to talk with the owner after our meal. He was very helpful and made sure that we had a great meal. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The food was fantastic authentic Argentinian. We would happily go again!

A really friendly place where you can get good and fresh food based on Argentinian style. Great wines selection. Awesome selection of vegetarian dishes. And don't forget to get the organic Mate.

We happened to pass by and decided to go in and try it. We are vegetarians which can be a bit of a challenge in Paris. They had quite a few vegetarian/vegan options. We were there around 5 - between meal times. One of the owners served us. He was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and... More

Delicious meat+excellent service+authentic Argentinian products that you can buy to go=happiness. I hadn't been there in a while. It was a PLEASURE to realize that the quality of the food and the service have stayed the same :)

We ended up here for dinner late one night after the original restaurant we wanted to go to was closed for the night. We ordered the empanada duo - they were cold, almost frozen in the middle. We also got the tapas sampler and again all the ingredients in these were super cold, even the steak. So not the best... More

We had a very pleasant evening, even if not everything was perfect. Oscar is very helpful and doing his best, but can be a bit overwhelmed on a busy evening, meat is good but maybe not quite as tender as expected, but overall you will have a good time, and obviously all tables around us were having fun as we... I'm a regular customer there! I love their meat! So juicy! Real Argentinean meat! Good empanadas, delicious panqueques con dulce de leche. The place is pretty. Nicest servers ever! Buy some alfajores in their little store before leaving!

Food and service were among the worst we experienced in an otherwise thrilling romp through Paris' restaurant scene. Avoid this place at all costs.

Boyfriend and I had an excellent dinner here. The steak was wonderful; just beautiful, quality meat. Our waitress spoke about as much English as we did French--which is to say not much--but she was courteous and helped us get through our order. The atmosphere was warm, and it seemed like a place where you'd like to go out with a... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
