It is definitely place to eat a duck - the most delicious duck we have ever eaten! The waiter didn't speak English but in the end it was not a problem.

Visited on our last evening in Paris without a reservation, although it was midweek so we were fortunate not to need one. Tucked away in a sociable street in Montmartre with lots of choice of eateries, it doesn't necessarily look much from outside but don't be put off, it's incredibly cosy inside with a lovely ambience & extremely friendly staff.... Went on our last night in Paris and both ate the beef lyonnaise....wonderfully tender beef and a carafe of red wine...so good we ordered another! Great atmosphere, popular with locals, friendly staff, a great find in the fabulous Montmartre area. Thankyou.

I had the braised beef and my boyfriend had the duck. The grape sauce with the duck was amazing and the duck was cooked perfectly! The creme bulee for desert was also delicious!! Friendly staff too :) but it's a good idea to book a reservation beforehand !

We ate dinner here after doing a walking tour, the food was tasty and reasonably quick to come out. The bar was very lively and had a good vibe.

Absolutely amazing duck, I was floored by the tender meat and sweet yet savory sauce. The waitress was very knowledgeable and flexible, speaking English with us as we knew little French. The menus are posted on the walls with chalk which was a quaint touch. It seemed like a spot where locals went, and now I clearly know why!

Really enjoyed food, service and atmosphere at Le Zebra. All is good here...feels like the France that many seek but don't often find. Well worth a visit!

The bistro does shabby chic incredibly well. The food it traditional bistro style, easy to prepare or cooked long and slow...which given the size of the place it would kinda have to be! There are just a few dishes to choose from which I like as it usually means something is going to cooked well! I had carpaccio and it... More

My boyfriend and I did a walking tour in Monmartre and was recommended by the tour guide to go to Le Zebra for dinner. I ordered the chicken foie gras for entree and steak for main. Food was satisfactory though service was very poor. There were two waitresses working and the restaurant had quite a few patrons. We arrived at... More

First night in Paris and we were recommended to eat here, it was quite possibly the best food I've had in Europe! the service was excellent and all four meals for our tables were cooked to perfection. As a traveller, eating in Paris can be quite hard, so I'd highly recommend coming here.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
