We ate here last week on the recommendation of some friends. What a great place. The oysters were amazing, but the atmosphere was even better. A tiny place -- six or seven tables at most -- with just two folks working there. The menu is focused -- oysters and a few accompaniments. The people are lovely and friendly, and really... More

While specialising in oysters, and these are the freshest imaginable, being delivered by a personal supplier, their delicious white wine goes well too with non-Oyster menus, such as smoked salmon, also of quality, or smoked duck and foie gras. Very friendly ambiance.

Unpretentious gem close to Gare Montparnasse. Saw the oysters arrive from the coast, had a dozen each, followed by a slab of foie gras, washed down with an inexpensive bottle of dry white bordeaux. 60 euros for two. Steal. Check opening hours, not straight forward but worth the journey. But only if you love oysters. As soon as we discovered... More

Oysters from the Baie d'Arcachon? Experiencing outrageously expensive haute cuisine fatigue? Looking for authenticity in the unfussy French regional way? Take the metro to Montparnasse-Bienvenue and walk a few metres to the cozy Cabane à huîtres. There, Ségolène, the lady of the house, not Ségolène Royal, but Ségolène Impériale (!), will welcome you with a charming smile. The oysters are... More

With a little bit of exaggeration, our favorite spot after Eiffel Tower was La Cabane a Huitres and if you don't believe why don't you see yourself. First off, be ready to meet the most happiest person in Paris who made our night with her great hospitality. A small restaurant with only few seats and absolutely delicious food made our... More

We had foie gras and the smoked duck breast as starters, both are very good. The oysters are sooo fresh and amazing! We had a glass of the selected white wine, which goes so right with the oysters. We also ordered a small cake and cheese as desserts, both frm bordeaux, and both are soo delicious! The restaurant lady was... More

I have to start this review by saying from the moment I rang up to make a reservation the lady was extremely friendly, polite and attentive...something which can be a rarity here in Paris. When we arrived to this small unasuming quaint little restaurant it was clear that the food and the family spoke for itself. I have to say... More

A dozen of the very best, straight from La Baie d'Arcachon, the choice of foie gras, smoked duck breast or smoked salmon, a slice of delicious Pyrénée cheese - and if you are still hungry, a cannelle pastry - wine bottle on the table, you pay for what you drink - always nice wines. Been a "habituée" for many years,... More

If you want to follow the few things you MUST do in Paris, you should never miss to reserve a table at this place. Try to get to know the owner too, he's amazing and so much fun! They will offer you their oysters, which are so tasty... The restaurant is small and filled with lovely people, from the waitress... More

Out of all the places that we have had oysters - this is the one to miss! The owner was not present and the only clients were tourists. The poor waitress had to open the oysters; welcome everybody and serve the wine. She did well, but the oysters were not served on ice, they had some flakes of shell which... More
