This is a great little restaurant in the heart of the Latin Quarter. I've been just once but plan to return. It's classic fare with a bit of an elegant twist. My gigot d'agneau was perfect.

This is a very small restaurant with tables next to each other's. The nice lone waitress has to negotiate the obstacle course between tables and kitchen. Our appetizer of snails quite good. Unfortunately the duck that followed was for me the worse I was ever served ,pretty tasteless accompanied by non descript overcooked vegetables. My guest had scallops with a... More

delightful small restaurant short walk from Place de la Contrescarpe. Poached pear entree was exceptional - everything was very good. Reservations definitely recommended for this very small restaurant.

This tiny restaurant is very uncomfortable - tiny tables, no finesse, just noisy and cramped. The menu is very restricted and nobody in our party enjoyed our meal - we all thought it was pre-cooked and reheated. This was not helped by the very surly and unwelcoming waiter who could not cope, being the sole server. We do not recommend... More

We walked by it daily on each of our two last trips to Paris and decided to finally try it. We were not disappointed! Excellent food and service. There is English translation available if needed (but at least try to speak a little French to be polite). Highly recommended!

We are at this incredible small restaurant while in Paris last week. All I can say is if you are in Paris don't miss this! It is a very quaint place run by the owner. He served us and explained every menu item in detail. He obviously enjoys bringing an incredible dinning experience to people. Our group of 4 each... More

This is a tiny place, only 22-24 seats max and first seating for dinner is at 7 pm. Food was yummy, and the menu is in French but the waiter will translate into English for you and he was quite helpful. The 3 course menu for 36 euros is the way to go, and the escargot/mushrooms in a garlic cream... More

This is hands down, a fantastic, authentic bistro. It only has about eight tables and they fill up quickly. If you are a foodie looking for a culinary treat, this is it.

Cosy small restaurant. Lively, pleasant welcome and service.Delicate tasteful entrees but less exciting main courses. Somewhat expensive wine. Very popular among the non-french tourists. So a pleasant evening but not a very Parisian experience.

Excellent service and very good food make for a delightful evening. Very small so reservations are a must. Nice menu and the rabbit is excellent! Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
