Busy restaurant. Our waiter was nice and fast. Food was good. ( French onion soup, Escargot, Fries, beer and margarita drink). Good atmosphere a reasonable price for location.

9 years ago we visited the Notre Dame and Cafe Paris is directly across the bridge, so we were able to sit out front and stare at its beauty. I ordered a Croque Seguin. A Croque Monsieur with the addition of 3 wheels of goats cheese on top that have started to melt. I fell in love with it. Now... More

We didn't have an entree and skipped straight to the main of which we both had the ratatouille with the duck and a glass of what turned out to be a lovely red recommended by the waiter. The waiter was great, in fact all the staff were, helpful and with sufficient English to make our poor French work. We shared... More

I dined here before I started my Historic Paris Walking Tour for some needed fuel for the day. I had the Onion Soup (this is normally only served in touristy restaurants in Paris) and the steak+fries. The servers were polite and efficient and I didnt wait too long for the food to be served, even though the place was packed.... More

The salad hardly has any green vegetables inside but full of meat more . Foie gras is not impressive at all more like a tourist touch and go for fast french food

Went to 9am Mass at Notre Dame and after touring the church looked for a convenient place for breakfast. This place could not be more convenient right across the street from the side tower tour entrance. We both had omelettes and we were very pleased. Our waiter was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The overall service was good. Looking... More

Staff was very kind but price/quality ratio (compared to other places) was not very high. Food a bit grassy and not too taste, with similar prices to better bistros. Views were quite good though

If I could rate zero stars, I would. As a solo female traveler, I felt ignored completely. Aweful service. Sat with my empty glass of wine for about 30 minutes. Can't rate the food because I was never checked on.. or offered a menu. Just about walked out on my tab...since no one seemed to notice me there. Was also... More

We enjoyed the restaurant on our first visit, so we came back twice more. The service was friendly and the food generally good. The bouef bourguignon and ginger marinated chicken breast were delicious. The Andouille sausage is not for American palates. It is a very coarse grind, so the intestines are clearly visible. To me, it tasted like poop. The... More

The restaurant was very busy, and we ended up being put in a corner behind the dessert case. This was not a good location because I think it resulted in our being forgotten about at times. The best thing about the visit was the dessert. The tiramisu was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend it!

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
