This lovely French restaurant is tucked in under the Coulee Vert Rene-Dumont near the Bastille. The menu is short but has more than enough variety to suit most people's tastes and diets. Its decor blends into the unique architecture of the railway-cum-park that it's under,...More

Had a lovely family meal here. The steak was big and well cooked. The fish was very tasty. Good selection of desserts. Room under the railway arch was very atmospheric. Service was excellent and there was an English copy of the menu. Would definitely return...More

Went on a Monday evening, not too busy. The food was excellent (my bream was perfectly cooked). Everybody else at my table was impressed with their mains. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The menus were available in English, which was very useful.

A on-the-run stopover close to the Gare de Lyon. It's a typical brasserie where a lot of local people eat for their lunch pause. Busy, noisy with a quick service and a good cuisine.

Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise
lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and

Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois
de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on
its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to
this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make
