Nice place with good Italian food. Pizza good as well. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Close to Notre Dame and to many other small restaurants. Very, very convenient. In Europe Saint Severin Hotel.

This is so weird, but as you get older, having done all of the Michelin restaurants and staying at all the Palaces - on occasions, you just simply want to return to the older days as student when you would eat anything cheap. On this particular evening, we decided to just stroll the general area to find cheap eats -... More

Dear Dom, We deeply thank you for your lovely post. We are aware that the Saint Michel area does suffer from a bad image when it comes to restaurants. We took over the business one year ago and therefore decided to differentiate from our neighbours by offering fresh, good, well presented food at a decent price. On top of that... More

The waiter we had worked very hard but simply put he had too many tables to cover. There were 2 guys sitting people but not enough waiters to handle a busy Saturday night. Pizza was a 3.5/5, the beer was cold, the waiter was a 4.75/5. the Doctor hit me with a helpful vote!

Whilst walking the Latin quarter we came across this place and sat outside as need a break after walking 12k steps (so it said on polar loop). It had heaters out side and a good corner position to people watch as well. The spaghetti was very good and chips was hand cut. Really enjoyed the place. Staff very friendly. Will... More

Better than other restaurants in the area (tourist traps), but still average. Prices also were average.

Great spot to take a break and have some pizza and pasta. Sauces were delicious, pizza tasty and service warm and friendly. Reasonable prices - with good people watching!

As guests of the Hotel Europe St Severin next door we received a 20% discount to eat at their restaurant the Cafe (Trattoria) Rim. To my surprise, my husband and I found ourselves doing just that. At the end of a day's sightseeing in a 35 degree heatwave, we were happy to be refreshed at happy hour, followed by tasty... More

It was a dark and stormy night and this was a great place to get dry and enjoy pizza after a long day at the Louvre. The pizza crust was thin, the sauce was tasty and the cheese was creamy.

Ate here 31 May 2016. Brisk, efficient, friendly service. Food very tasty. Good atmosphere. Mixture of families, singles, and couples, so broad appeal.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
