We arrived and the place was quiet we had crepes and cider which were yummy. The head waiter was so arrogant and rude He told my husband to move his water bottle off the table, but did not bring us any tap water. All the tables on the street were empty a guy walked in and over to a street... More

This place is a must-visit for french crepes! We went late one evening after dinner and there was a long wait for a table, so we ordered a chocolate crepe to go and it was delicious! Recommendations seem necessary to sit in the restaurant as it gets very busy.

Who knew you could make anything taste good on a crepe? Well not my socks after a long day. This place makes the best of all worlds served with great staff and delicious coffee and juice. The country version is great as were all the versions that were served. did not find one person in place not thrilled with their... More

After reading so many good reviews from different sources on Breizh Cafe, I'd lunch there for the first time this afternoon. The buckwheat galette with smoked herring, potatoes, herring roe and cream lived up to its reputation. However, the place is small and rather touristic. Unless you arrive a bit before noon, you probably will need to wait to get... More

I came here on a very crowded weekend (lunch in the middle of july). The place was packed with tourists, it's pretty small and well worth the wait. The crepes are rich and generous. There are options for vegetarians, too.

The food was OK. The cider was lovely. The buckwheat and buttermilk ice creams were great. But the prices are way too high. We left feeling ripped-off.

We were in Paris so we wanted to get crepes and this place was listed by many as one of the best. Everything was solid but I felt like my crepe (I went savory and with an Andouillette) The flavor was nice but it was very monotone and intense. The first few bites were good but the singular flavor quickly... More

We went first time during lunch hour and didn't get any seats as we didn't had a reservation so we came by again around 3pm without reservation we get a table inside. I would suggest do not go during breakfast or lunch time as it's pretty crowded! The crepes is definitely much better than the one we had on street!... More

This place is welcoming although a bit cramped and the service was attentive. We were disappointed with the insufficient fillings. My artichoke galette only had a couple of spoonfuls of artichoke and the smoked salmon one was not much better. Considering the price, that's a shame.

Yes. Go here. We got take out bc we were in the move. We got the lemon honey and salted caramel. Oh my gosh, I'm still dreaming of them. An excellent pair bc the salted caramel is deliciously rich and the honey lemon is clean, light and flavorful. Get them both.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
