This small and unassuming hotel restaurant is fantastic! Not only does it have the best view in town but the chef is wonderful. We had a truly marvelous meal sitting at the panoramic window overlooking the old castle city. I had a meal plan and my husband just ordered off the menu. We had a suburb bottle of wine and... More

We dined here on our first night in Carcassone. Seven of us, were most fortunate to be able to bring our own wine and not charged corkage. A 3 course dinner for €29 per person. Excellent value, friendly staff, polite and efficient. Good choice on the set menu and a good selection a la carte. However, the best thing about... More

Food was excellent, very good wine, friendly attentive staff. Nice athmosphere and a view to die for. This was the last night of our stay in Carcassone and was very memorable. To see the cite all lit up across our table was fantastic. We were also shown to the viewing area on the floor ab ove to take photos. Would... More

Such a shame that a restaurant in such an enchanting setting stuck in the 90's. Such potential in this area of France but so little imagination. First impression of the restaurant is ...wow what a viewI Then it's all down hill for one there is total lack of choice for the apéritif - a cocktail,a kir or even one of... More

Great service and a good choice of both a set menu or A la Carte. Great view of Carcassonne! No problem getting a table at short notice, although not the busiest time when we visited.

The food was sublime and with panoramic views of La Cite it was a win win. I would totally recommend the Cafe Gourmand for desert - beautiful French coffee with four desert tasters - to die for!!!!

I would recommend that if you're staying here, to try this restaurant. I had the casserole and it was really good. The service was excellent. Very attentive waitstaff. Lovely views of La Cite.

Ate here with an itinerant motorcycle group. Of the group meals we've had so far (and this is the 5th), this has been the best. Good food, well presented, well served... and with good views over the walled city and River Aude. It's not easy serving a group (and one place we stayed got it SO wrong), but this place... More

As we were staying in the hotel, we decided to have dinner there. The food was fantastic, then the best creme brûlée we have ever had. And to top the experience: the view of the old city going in a transformation from day to night and to witness when they lit the walls of the old city. Absolutely fabulous.
