We were hoping for a nice, hot french onion soup, on a overcast rainy day. It was on the menu, but it was watery and dissappointing. The citrous salad was terrible. Try to avoid this restaurant.

Pretty good and has a varied menu .Service was quick and efficient but a liitle impersonal.Need to be careful with the English translation as two of our party had Pork stir fry - it was not stir fry as we know it. It was more like a small pork stew. The fish was good though.

After long train from Barcelona we checked into our Best Western Le Donjon. Weather was bad so we decide to eat at the Brasserie. Wow!!! Not a hotel restaurant but very finie dining with excellent menu, wines and terrific service.

Six of us came here on our last night of a holiday in Carcassonne. Meal was ok, but no better than ok considering that we had eaten splendidly elsewhere in this lovely city far more cheaply. Admittedly it was a Sunday evening, but by 10pm they wanted us out. Plenty of other places to choose from in Carcassonne.

The kitchen is efficient. The staff were friendly. The onion soup was very tasty and satisfying. The local wine was well chilled and easy to drink. The decor was modern, nothing fancy. There was no expectation for a tip.

We are a couple staying a few nights in different locations across France. This was the worst food we have had. salad with. No taste no dressing and mainly lettuce. Cassoulet which a duck may flown over but never entered, dried beans and a burnt top. Chicken supreme which was land in the extreme served with pasta and one poor... More

Having read a recent review in a uk paper, our friends booked a table here for our visit. We had the set meal at 31 euros (which was very similar to menus in other restaurants in the old city at half the price) and expected a lovely meal. The starters were very basic, slice of cold fois gras with a... More

Only spent a weekend in Carcassonne, and only managed to eat here once during our stay. I had the 18 Euro set menu, choosing a main and a dessert as opposed to the starter and main. The chicken and pasta I had for dinner was lovely, the other people with me had steak and lamb respectively, and only had good... More

We ate here as a family of 3; the food was cooked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and efficient. We ate in the garden area, and the ambience was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

What started out as a promising meal turned into a disaster on our last night of a 3 week holiday. I'm not going to write a lengthy review as I am too upset. My advice is to avoid this place as what they did to us was try to offload sub standard wine in a bottle that they didn't open... More
