I chose this restaurant from the multitude on offer from reading the reviews and was not disappointed. We both ate from one of the fixed price menus and both had cassoulet which as excellent. Service was as quick and friendly as could be expected. A good experience.

Chose this restaurant as it offered a varied menu to some of the others in the square, had comfortable seats and good general feel. Glad we did. Staff were super and the meal was great. Would be more than happy to return again but alas discovered it on our last night in Carcassonne.

Not our first choice as this was closed. But never the less the confit of duck and half a baked camebert and salad was excellent. Reasonably priced coupled with really good service and friendly staff all made for a very enjoyable lunch.

This is the restaurant we selected to try cassoulet. It was reasonably priced. About 15 euro for an adult portion and 10 euro for the kid's size. We found it tasty and very filling. Maybe a little too much pepper. The experience here made us attempt a version of cassoulet when we got home. The service was good and the... More

We tried the set menus as recommended for trying local food and kids had children's food. The blanquette anciente was delicious, very fruity as described. It is set in a busy squa with a lot of choice, we were pleased with ours.

This was not the first time I have eaten here and have always found it if not very good, at least adequate. This time it was as if they forgot we were there. 1/2 hour with drinks but not even bread. We finally asked where our food was as all around were eating and we had come in before ,out... More

My wife and me ordered the menu bistrot. Every dish was okayish but nothing special. Paid 34 euro in total for twice starter, main and dessert and a bottle of sp. water. So expect cheap but lower quality. Service was good,

I ate here twice during my stay, the only place I revisited. Friendly service, excellent range of dishes, the Viognier, available by the glass is excellent. The salad of confit pigs cheeks and foie gras is fantastic. There are many restaurants on this little square, some quite average, give this one a go!

In the highly touristy old city of Carcassonne, you might expect to get ripped off, and maybe some places you do, but not here. We had confit de canard and it was just as it should be. Service was friendly and reasonably quick bearing in mind it was quite busy, and the price was reasonable.

We ate inside as at the time it was raining. The food was gorgeous, we both had brochettes which I can definitely recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful.
