The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. He made dinner recommendations in good English and described the meals that were interesting and plentiful. The restaurant is small and has good ambiance. The prices are reasonable. Overall, highly recommended

Small intimate restaurant run by jovial husband and wife team. We had the small casselout and five meat sauerkraut. Portions are very generous so make sure that you are hungry!

Found this restaurant by chance. Made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered....the owner dealt with our poor french with warmth and humour. Service was relaxed and unhurried rather than slow. He was very helpful in selecting the best wines to suit our meal. Our main reason for visiting was to try cassoulet which was delicious......but take note,... More

Would have never found this restaurant without trip advisor or a good guide. A small and quaint place serving Alsatian food. We had spaetzle with sauerkraut(choucroute) and bacon and pizza with sauerkraut, bacon, and smoked sausage. It was a diversion from traditional French food and a delight, most comforting. The waiter/owner was very friendly and cheerful. It was one of... More

This is one of "the" nicest restaurants I have visited - lovely warm welcome and what can I say about the food - "to die for" - as I overheard one customer say " I am bringing the cook home with me" - Don't miss out - visit this restaurant - you will not be disappointed.

This place is fantastic, the meal portions are great, and it makes a good change from the local restaurants that tend to serve the same meals. On our second visit we went with friends who live in the region, they said it was like coming to a different country. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We came to an empty location, but the place filled up quicly. The location was nice, almost like crazy grandmothers place ( in a good way), staff cozy and fun and tasty food.

Visited here after reading all the rave reviews about it. Was a little disappointed to be honest. We did not receive a very warm welcome and the place looks a little rough and ready. The menu was really bizarre, mostly due to the very bad English translations. Seemed to be an over abundance of dishes made or topped with Munster... More

Delightful authentic food from Alsace region. I had a salad starter with anchovies which came on a large plate. Main course was a flamenkuche with onion, duck and mushrooms. Dessert was creme brulee which was pleasantly lemon flavoured. The host was very friendly and explained the dishes to me. The restaurant was generally quiet for a Thursday evening, service was...
