What a treat. We took a stroll around and Stumbled across this place. Our french was a bit rusty but our waitress was great at explaining the menu and very helpful throughout. We asked for her recommendation on wine and food and neither dissapointed. The sea bass for 2 was superb, and came with langoustine, mussles, veg and mash. The... More

It was a good idea to arrive early as we didn't have a reservation. The restaurant filled up to the last seat and people started queuing outside. We soon understood why.........the meal was very good. Staff was nice as well. The restaurant is small and feels a little crowded but all in all a great experience.

We make frequent visits to Collioure and we always dine at least once at this top class fish restaurant. The standard is always very high, both the food and service faultless. As an extra bonus we have met some lovely friendly people there, two of whom have become good friend

The food is really excellent and the fixed menues do not disappoint. The fish dishes are well prepared and presented. The location is ideal just behind an old stone arch with a superb view of the old harbour. On previous visits the server made a point of describing the catch of the day which we have usually gone for. This... More

We enjoyed the food very much at this restaurant, probably the best of the week we stayed in Collioure. However, the experience was spoiled by very unfriendly service from one woman, and a young chap who was friendlier but who was very harassed and appeared to be somewhat under pressure from the management.

We really enjoyed the food and service at Casa Leon but made the mistake of ordering the fresh mixed fish / seafood selection for two without checking the price. It was a bit of a shock and the worst thing was that it was too much food for two people so sadly we had to waste some. My partner's starter,... More

One of the most popular restaurants in Collioure, Casa Leon is almost one of the most atmospheric. Perhaps it flatters to deceive because the food on the two occasions we visited didn't quite match up to the ambience. Quality seafood no doubt, but no real pizazz or tastiness.

2 visits in 2 days (one evening, one lunchtime), same menu, wide choice. Known for fish specialities. Duck excellent, gamba fantastic. Food beautifully presented, good portions. Friendly helpful staff with some English if your French is sparse. We will certainly go again during our 2 wk holiday

We visited upon a recommendation for our final meal together in Collioure. All 4 of us ordered the 29,50€ menu. The food was of great quality, everything was fresh and portions were generous. The fish soup was, in particular, outstanding. Service was fast and staff were attentive. The one thing I would say is PRE BOOK. Outside tables are reserved... More
