We went here after a recommendation from a local and were not disappointed. It's located in a lively little square with some other bars etc so lots of activity to see if watching the world go by is your kind of thing. The food was fabulous, you are given an amuse Boucher to start, then i had the fois gras... More

Visited a few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were fortunate enough to stop in this restaurant for lunch! We both had Le Menu du Jour, starters to desserts everything was good, like really good! And coming from Paris, i found the whole thing fairly priced! I think one of the waitress was new, as i work in hospitality i... More

We had dinner at Grillardin our first evening in Montpellier. What a great way to begin our visit! Our server was friendly & knowledgeable. The wine from the region was terrific. Started with an amuse-bouche. My first course was a pea & asparagus dish with goat cheese froth & fresh salmon. The flavors & herbs were incredible. Highly recommend. DH... More

A big plus for me is the fact that they are a "celiac friendly" restaurant and are very re-assuring about all the ingredients in their dishes and can easily make substitutions.

Nestled in a love little public square that forms an intimate space is this very old building with thick and character-filled walls and a lovely restaurant. As Canadians, we were happy to start with Jerusalem artichoke soup, which comes from the indigenous peoples of Western Canada-- and they added chestnuts, hazelnuts and mousse for a spectacular opening dish. Our main dish... More

Went here with local friends for dinner and have to say that this popular place is really one of the best eateries in Montpellier. The parton is the chef and he runs a tight ship. Excellent service with a smile, regularly changing menu, and exquisite flavours. In winter the dining room is intimate but over 2 floors - about 60... More

I showed up without a booking on a busy Friday night and they very kindly managed to accommodate me despite being fully booked. I was treated like royalty; the owner and wait staff were so incredibly kind. I had a delicious glass of white wine and the fish which was cooked to perfection. The ice cream for dessert was great... After checking Tripadvisor I decided we should try the Gastronomic menu with wine. It turned out to be an excellent choice. A six course menu with a fine salmon tartar to start followed by pate de fois gras, a melon gaspachio, fish course, beef course and then desert. Each course was accompanied by an appropriate wine. For the dessert I... More

We've been there for try something new in montpellier, from the first place we're tasting an amazing quality of food, great wines and for sure a gift about cooking. It is a delicious address, pricy but deserving any penny on the bill. Enjoy!

We went to le Grillardin, for a nice birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. We chose the 5 course menu with some light variations according to our taste and were served the most delicious food. Everything was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was great in the old town of Montpellier and the people were very friendly with a great... More
