Here for a family lunch, with one veggie, one fussy teenager amongst the group. Not much in the veggie line, but plenty of fish choices. Starters would do for veggies, topped up with frites. We had the lunch menu - very good price. Plenty of choices. The duck, the beef and the calamares were all judged excellent. My 'boles' (... More

My girlfriend and I are vegetarian so we came here as it is listed as one of Perpignan's vegetarian friendly restaurants. I would have to admit that this is a bit misleading: it is a French restaurant with a couple of starter options which happen to be veggie, nothing is catered for vegetarians. However, none of that mattered one jot.... More

This excellent restaurant in a narrow street near the Castillet in the historic part of the city. The menu is either 22,90€ for two dishes or 28,90€ for a starter, main dish and dessert, but well worth it (there is also à la carte). The terrine was enough for two people (it is possible to share a plate!), the freginat... More

We booked a table for the evening, but during the day, we struggled to find it. Lots of people knew of its existence and pleasantly directed us all over the town with enthusiasm, but we'd almost come to the conclusion they didn't want us to find it.. However a couple of young chaps at a nearby bar said we were... More

Recommended by Nyx we arrived to find inside booked out , ( good sign ) , service was prompt & efficient , the bread and mustard aoli fantastic , the red wine excellent ( only 23 Euro ) and the salads great . The beef was underdone ( even for me , a med rare man ) but my wife's... More

An extensive menu offers typically Catalan dishes as well as general French cuisine. Gets very busy so best to book - and preferably a table outside.

Very busy restaurant and they were nearly full but greeted us with a smile and seated us right away. They even bought some water for our dog without us asking! The Terrine, Gambas, calamares la Planxa were all excellent and the Creme Catalan for dessert was superb. Lovely outside atmosphere in a quaint little alley, very intimate yet bustling. Really... This is a favourite restaurant for local and visitors alike. This is because of its no-nonsense fare and charming bistro atmosphere. We went twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and were delighted with the food on both occasions. Excellent regional winelist and service.

You must call to make them. Small restaurant with great food. But no reservation = no food! No online reservation.

I would have given full marks to this place if it were based on the quality of food and wine alone, both of which are excellent. However, the service left a lot to be desired. I speak fluent French and they still treated us with nothing short of contempt, to the extent of refusing to give me a fresh set... More
