Great place to eat local food. Mind the size of the dish. It's really huge sometimes. Friendly stuff and nice atmosphere.

I was in Metz alone on a Wednesday. I looked at some restaurants I had been recommended but both were closed so was at a loose end Popped into a bar for a beer and asked the barman if he could recommend anywhere - he pointed out that there were 5 or 6 restaurants along the street. I had seen... More

Not our best evening. Initially, we were shunted to the very back of the back room next to a collection of kids (clearly the room for big groups so why put a couple with that lot ?). And generally that was the tone of the evening - very little if any thought for the clients (a carafe of water seemed... More

Been here on two occasions and loved it each time! I can't help but get the Munster chaud dish, it is incredible! The potatoes that come with it are equally as good! Portions are huge, but you can ask them to pack it up for you to take home and enjoy later :) Very friendly staff! Certainly recommend to friends... More

Ordered the traditional flambée, a ham cooked in cheese sauce (similar to a lasagna without the noodles) and a pitcher of wine. Food was excellent and the service was nice. Great traditional restaurant. Good... More

Big plates, very tasty local food. We ordered for the pork shoulder with cream and cheese and it was really nice. The waiter was very friendly! Definitely A place highly recommended if you want to try local food...

It was impossible! Cheese, cream, cream on cheese, cheese on cream... and sauerkraut. I was lost. I definitely recommend it. If you like cheese and cream of course:)

We took the recommendation of the hotel and tried this place. it was very good. The Veau with mushroom sauce was the best we have had so far in France.

If it is traditional cuisine from this area you are after, you have to come here. It's just excellent.
