Can only encourage you to try that place. Superb lunch, great wine list, reasonable price, and very good service. Will go back!

This restaurant fufilled my expectations on what I expect from a good restaurant - top quality food, friendly service. A place that I could recommend.

When a passerby in the street urges you to make a reservation at a restaurant where you are examining the menu in the early morning, you know you are on to something. When the restaurant is fully booked but the chef makes an accommodation to squeeze you in for the first dinner seating, you are already looking forward to dinner... More

We had spent a night in Metz and had dinner in le Petit' Frontalier. Friendly service, excellent cuisine with local ingredients. Even though it was in the middle of the week, the restaurant was full packed. It is better to book a table beforehand.

We went to this place for a birthday and it was a very pleasant and relaxed moment for everyone. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but always discrete. The food is delicate, full of flavors and inventive. We were five and tasted the different meats, including a great wild boar. All meats were perfectly cooked. We took a glass of... More

We were staying for one night in Metz, travelling south. The number 1 restaurant could not be booked; 2 weeks in advance said the peson on the phone. We did not regret that at all. Thi restaurant is very elegant, with nice people serving you and it has a good price/product balance. The food is French and do not forget... More

Was good food but have had much better in the past so not quite worth the 4.5 stars. 3.5 maybe 4 would be my guess on a good day but because of the rush rush treatment we got, it becomes a 3

We had a wonderful meal here, the staff are welcoming and speak English, there's also and English menu which was very helpful. After a free amuse bouche, we had a red mullet open ravioli with bisque sauce and seared scallops with salmon caviar for starters which were both excellent. Chicken ballotine and lamb shanks were main courses, both beautifully presented,... More

Very enjoyable evening "au P'tit Frontalier" in Metz. This is a small restaurant in the center of Metz - near the pedestrian streets. Service is friendly and professional but the waiters are not attentive enough. We had to call them each time we needed more bread, more wine, etc. Food was excellent. Each course was perfect. The four of us... More

Already my favorite restaurant in Metz! They use local products, and cook them with expertise and love. The chief and the staff are very nice. We all enjoyed the experience and we'll come back to further explore the menu.

Thank Philippe M
