We were trying to find somewhere for Sunday lunch, not having booked (never a good idea in France) and were rather disconsolately working our way along the beachfront in Dunkirk when we happened upon Le Malouin. Diner-type eating, it was quick, easy and good value for money. Moules-frites and a salade de chevre arrived quickly and were really huge portions.... More

This was a nice place to have a quick snack with friendly, helpful staff. The crepes were delicious and the wine and beer were excellent. Some of our friends had desserts which they said were excellent.

spacious and clean, the waiter was extremely friendly and very helpful, there was an elderly couple coming through the door, he dashed over to get the door for them and showed them to a table. My husband and his work colleagues all had a beer unfortunately one of them didn't taste right and it was down to the pipes being... More

Stumbled across this restaurant on the second day of our short break. Had a crepe and a couple of beers for under €10 which wasn't bad. It was a bit busy, perhaps it was a bank holiday or something.
