My son and I visited La Patatiere while on a booze cruise to Calais. The food consists of every sort of jacket potato you could wish to have - and the potatoes are enormous - accompanied by a lovely salad. The staff were prompt and attentive and the prices are very affordable, especially with the lunchtime offer. We highly recommend... More

Visited at least 5 times in the last few years. I am from Dunkerque but live in Ireland. Every time I come to Dunkerque, eating at LA Patatiere is a must! My favourite restaurant here for sure. If you don't like potatoes, then obviously this restaurant is not for you... What you get is a choice of a Huge jacket... More

When served at La Patatiere, not really one for jacket potato's but after ten weeks of travelling eating salami and Parma ham fancied a change , what a great decision and no wonder we struggled to get a table , excellent food with all varieties of toppings / sides etc an excellent choice for food and value , pleasant staff

Arrived on afternoon ferry from Dover and having booked a B&B in the town centre we meandered along the infamous beach front, quaffed a couple of beautiful Belgian beers and entered this "baked potato chain restaurant " on the promenade. We had a really good and tasty meal. Lots of nice food. A huge "spud", large salad and braising steak... More

Good food here, generous portions, but do with English menus and waiter was very quick at taking order before you had time to ask for anything else. Translations a weird, little spuds means childrens meals and not small jacket potatoe which is what we were expecting!

We searched for somewhere to eat outside in the rare April sun. We found this restaurant and weren't disappointed. Three of us had jacket potatoes with chicken and a mushroom sauce - huge and gorgeous. My son had fish and chips. He cleaned the plate - loved it! Don't be put off by it being by the cinema complex and... More

On a recent trip to Europe with family we made a short pit stop at la Patatiere where the staff are very friendly and the menu opens your eyes to new jacket potato toppings! We had great food, which none of us could finish in a lovely restaurant with splendid stormy views over the harbour. recommend to anyone passing!
