Oddly, difficult to spot , in the corner of a large central square, but well worth the effort. Its corner site is obscured by the awnings and blinds of the restaurants and cafes on either side. The rather stylish, "Thirties Glam" front doesn't help visibility because it is black mable. Stick with it though, its too good to change. We... More

Great typical brasserie. If you like french cuisine with local ingredients from the "terroir" of the north of france just go there! Outside there are a lot of brasserie but with no authenticity. Open your belt and taste the typical cheese marouale!

We stayed at the Ibis next door and went into this cafe for drinks and a snack on the Saturday night of our stay. A great place, nice food, good prices and the staff were friendly. Be aware, not open on Sundays, (during March anyway)

Had the salmon plat de jour and mixture of desserts. Food was great and service very pleasant and quick. Little or no English spoken and the customers were locals in the main. Good value and recommended.

We visit Lille at least every couple of months and always book lunch here. It may not be the best restaurant in Lille nor in the first rank but the food is good, the staff are great and the clientele are either locals or, like us, experienced travellers who look for quality at a fair price.

A charming restaurant: decorated in an opulent style. Like many French eateries - the tables are very close together which can be a bit problematic for us Brits. As we visited on a Saturday evening we chose the 31 euro set menu (this is 26 euros on weekdays). There was a moment of panic as our pathetic French language skills... More

the set menu (20 euros for 3 course meal) very good value, if you opt for 29 euros (with drinks) you get white and red wine (bottle of each), cassis and water - very comfortable setting and superb service

This is a popular restaurant serving great seafood and meat dishes. We went for the €20 and €29 menus which offered fish and meat options. All of the food was really well cooked and the portions were generous. The staff were efficient and friendly and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. I am guessing that the place gets very full at...
