Dinner with husband while staying in Deauville for a week. Had 7:45 reservations on. Wednesday night which was good because the place was packed. Lots of locals which was also a good sign. Service was good and the food was delivered much quicker than some places we've eaten in France. I was almost afraid that meant it was going to... More

Try the grilled salmon, excellent well cooked food and nice pleasant staff. Don't leave without trying the crepe flambé, so much fun with a flaming desert!

Food slightly better than in the usual brasserie, but with flaws. Bearnaise sauce too acid, ratatouille not recommended. Go for simple things they get right. Wine list expensive. Bring good mood. Worth 3.25 points

As I was shopping in the nearby stores, it was convenient to enter the first brasserie on the street. I was seated inside at a table by the window and asked if they have fresh Sole. They said yes and that in two ways, either fried or grilled. I chose grilled. A few minutes later the place arrived, with tasteless... More

Always excellent food and service in Le Drakkar. The fish soup with all the trimmings is great fun, and the cote de boeuf is a must.

It was raining when we arrived, but from that minute on we were totally taken care of. We were given a fabulous table, where we could sit along side each other...plenty of room for us, and everything on the table. The staff were completely professional, and funny, and fast with every request. Bread, water and wine all arrived straight away,... More

The fact that it was busy with locals and had a varied menu attracted us to this restaurant and our instinct that if locals ate there it would be OK was proved right. Our starters were great and the mains, unusually for France, included veg that were as imaginative as the Meat/Fish. The service was prompt and friendly without ever... More

Been here many times and could not visit Deauville without visiting this restaurant and enjoying the fresh sea food. The staff are always friendly and willing to to assist your choices. Great atmosphere and excellent value for money, suggest booking prior to a visit.
