Me and my beautiful girlfriend came here with family when we were in the area. The food was delicious throughout, the local wine recommended by the very friendly and attentive owner was tasty too. The ice cream desert, although very tasty was rather hard however this made the meal as one of our number had an extremely funny accident when... More

We came for dinner during the middle of the week with almost a full house and one server. We opted for the smaller menu since the more expensive one didn't have anything too interesting. Both the lamb and beef cheeks dishes were ok, nothing memorable. The creme brulee was very good!

This is a small, traditional unpretentious French restaurant with a varied menu. We had three courses, each of which was fresh and cooked to order. The quality of the food was outstanding for each course, although the portions were a little small. However, with three courses we were very satisfied at the end of our meal. Excellent wines and a... We went here on the recommendation of a local, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We particularly liked the fish, and the boudin noir was amongst the best I have ever tasted.

We booked this restaurant based on the reviews. It was certainly popular and fully booked when we left however the one next door was almost empty. We opted for the smaller menu. If you are big eaters or v hungry then I suggest you go for the more expensive menu. We both chose the fish which was tasty and moist.... More

Lovely food where you get a taste of Normandy. We all had the pigs cheek which was lovely. Portions were not too large which meant you could have 3 courses.

In our two visits we had tripe stew (superb), boudin au cidre, fish, mussels and pork cheeks braised in cider. Always with a big bottle of local hard cider. Every dish was excellent as was the service. And, for dessert go for the roasted peach and ice cream served on an amazing beurre sales.

This restaurant serves nice Norman food at fair prices. On the night we visited, the restaurant was parked & the service, though efficient & polite, was visibly tense because of the pressure on staff. Not the most relaxing meal. Probably picked a bad night.

The food however was very disappointing and the service brisk, to the point of being rushed. Wines are relatively expensive and poor value. We came away feeling that it was a tourist trap. Tried oysters, weren't impressed.
