We walked past this small restaurant, but looked in and they were not open till 1900hrs, went on into town and had a drink by the harbour and then walked back to the restaurant. Small but quaint. The food was very good as was the wine by the glass, good service and lovely food and really reasonable priced, could not... More

Thank you you again to the owner of that restaurant for the worst culinary and service experience in a long time followed by a food poisoning... Beside the fact that this place is part of history and the price very ship the rest is just terrible, tacky decoration, cleanliness and the waitress who should be better out of any commercial... Very old building in one of the main streets of Honfleur . We had a set priced menu and everything was cooked very well and served by a very delightful waitress. Wine was also very good.

Many restaurants in Honfleur but all you need to do is go a little off the beaten track to find this lovely little restaurant. The service was excellent, both waitresses were very friendly and the food was simple but very good.

I have classed this as v good rather than average because it was more than average. The food was good but honest. I would visit again.

First night in Honfleur and everywhere was very busy hence we ended up in here without checking previous reviews. It is a small restaurant with just two waitresses who were both very efficient and pleasant. Luckily we arrived just as a group of about 10 people who had been seated downstairs were leaving. We decided to have the 14.90 set... More

Honfleur is full of restaurants, many with similar offerings. We were attracted to this place and celebrated my friend's birthday. The surroundings were atmospheric, the food was excellent and provided very good value at €14.90. The one waitress seemed to be doing everything and but was very attentive and helpful. All in all a very enjoyable evening was had by... More

We stopped here for lunch as the place we had hoped to eat in was closed, and we dropped into the nearest nice looking place as it was raining. There was nobody else eating so the service was good. On the whole the food was very good, freshly cooked and well presented, if a little to much paprika sprinkled on... More

Honfleur is lovely: I think we can all agree on that. Lots of restaurants which can be very similar in both meny and pricing. We ended up at La Maison du Gouverneur simply because the menu looked a little different to the others. And it was different: service was good and prompt, the menu was imaginative, the food was very... More
