Good food, maybe some room for improvement. Good for tea and coffee nice view of town. Outside seating can be noisey due to road

We arrived at Saumur a bit late in the day around 14:00. Which meant that the places to eat around us were closing till the evening. The cute entrance to the house of this sweet little place caught our eyes. We were welcomes inside by Teresa and her husband with a lovely friendly smile and welcomed us to this tiny... More

We sat outside on the pavement as we had our 4-legged friend with us, right on the road so was a bit noisy. Ordered a café crème and café noir and were offered a free top-up which we accepted. Glad we did as the bill came to €6.60, expensive for what was average coffee. I love quirky places but this... More

Lovely atmosphere and great hospitality in a unique and welcoming guest house. Teresa and Tony really went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. The room was big enough for a small family with good bathroom and private dining room opposite - somewhere to sit with the kids in the evening whilst Teresa and... More

Very cluttered place. We had a soup a la carte , thé owner did not give us a menu so we ended up paying 6.50 euros for a small bowl. coffee was expensive and the worst we ever had in France

Chez Theresa is an experience. The dining room is overflowing with objets d'art and memorabilia and I was reminded of my grandma's sitting room! The food is homemade, fairly simple but very tasty. Theresa is very welcoming and this was an interesting change from some of the more traditional French restaurants we ate at.

A lovely welcoming with a cup of tea but sadly the room and general environment was not for us. Too cluttered with 'stuff'.

We have been to Chez Teresa today. Highlight of my father's holiday having a proper cup of tea in a teapot. The couple were very friendly. Slightly over priced but nice none the less.

Had the pleasure of visiting several times over the course of a month. The menu just gives a brief idea of what you can have. Be sure to ask what the day's special is. If you're lucky it's their amazing vegetarian curry or tagine. Plus where else can you peruse the shelves of china cups and other lovely things whilst... More

unattractive English tea rooms in a lovely little French village. Run by an unfriendly English couple in an overcrowded, poorly maintained house. don't let this place put you off of other very good places in the village. By sharing your experiences, you're helping travellers make better choices and plan their dream trips. Thank you!
