Nice food. Acceptable prices. Wide variety. Mid-day lunch meals. Try the seafood and steak with fries. Exceptional fries. Nice beer.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday, when most places are closed. Excellent food, excellent service. I had the escargot and choucroute paysanne. Both were delicious

Although other people from the UK seem to have fared better than us, we could not get served on a Sunday night. We had the feeling that it was because we were British and speaking English. Several waiters came and even took our drinks orders but we never got anything, whilst the French at other tables were being served. We... More

For a Friday night it was surprisingly empty. The place seems to specialise on Alcasienne cuisine. That's what we ordered and we were very satisfied. The price level was favourable. For seven persons a complete dinner including eg. oisters and a lot of beverages was only just over 300 €. The staff was nice and informal and knew languages. The... More

We were close by staying at the Grand Hotel so after a long journey decided to eat at the restaurant, but didn't realise that restaurant specialised in Alsace cuisine, with a number of shoucrout dishes, none of which I had tried before. My partner had oysters to start, which came around a plate with a dry ice volcano in the... More

Nice seafood restaurant. Away from the numerous " greasy spoons " and serving fresh food. As a day tripper, this provided an excellent lunchtime rest with outstanding facilities. I recommend it.

The only reason this review receives 2 stars is for my wife's dish, without that I could not give it a star. We went here because my wife felt like seafood. The entree was fine, crab in a pastry roll, tasty if over chilled, but the mains! Au secours, in hindsight what were we thinking?...we have tripadvisor yet we didnt... More

So, the menu here was not in English, but I got by just fine. Both the appetizer I had one night and the meal I had another night were tasty with good flavor, seasoned well and the staff was polite despite my poor French. I would definitely return here again.

visiting chain restaurants is not my thing however made an exception as friends wanted to celebrate my upcoming motherhood which meant we did a nice afternoon lunch. the ones who ordered mussels got a visual dry ice treat too. seafood is their thing if you order correctly as sometimes when busy staff may seem cold. desserts are a must have....
