Came here after long train ride to Aix. Wait staff were friendly if a little swamped. Husband had Caesar menu - nice salad and pizza combo. I had canelloni stuffed with spinach and ricotta. Both fine. Dining room is cute "cave."

We enjoyed our meal of pizza and pasta. I wanted something without cheese (hard to do with Italian) and the waiter stirred me toward a great pasta and eggplant dish. We sat upstairs but most of the seating is downstairs.

The restaurant is not clean in general. Tables are not properly cleaned and the entrance looks messy. The food was ok.

Dear Customer, we never got complaints about the cleaning of the restaurant. My personnel is composed by waiters...not cleaning attendants! It's a restaurant, not an hospital canteen...Hopefully the food was OK, we are saved...Sandro GROSSI More

My wife and I went here for a quick dinner. Staff was very friendly, spoke English very well (but also helped us with our French). The food was excellent. My wife's three cheese pasta dish was a little too cheesy for her (but is was three cheeses), but I thought both were excellent (I had the saltimbocca). Will definitely be... More

Ate here after reading reviews on T A after a week of eating good Provençal food but were needing a change. Decided to try Anitipasti sharing plate which was large and tasty with good quality meats and cheese. We picked a carafe of local red wine which went well with the food we chose. I had the best Pizza Cappriciosa... More

Went here on recommendation of our Airbnb host. The manager was VERY accommodating, adding a table outside due to extreme heat. YAY! The wine was reasonable and the food was oh so good! Don't eat pseudo Italian, go for the REAL STUFF !!! He's from Roma!!

We stumbled in this place thanks to the charming host; and we did all but regret it. the food was delicious and the service very attentive and friendly. We will certainly recommend it and we will return for sure. It is also nicely decorated and very family friendly - you feel suddenly transported to Italy!!! The only thing missing is... More

Tucked away in one of the many laneways in the old town of Aix, this restaurant was recommended by a staff member at our hotel. Warning bells perhaps! Not really. We weren't looking for a big night out and wanted Italian and this fitted the bill. Nice atmosphere ...we sat downstairs in a cave like area. The food was fair... More

Friendly service with "il coure d'italia" in the atmosphere. Genuine dishes served with a genuine feeling of hospitality. All is prepared with pride and passion for great eating. I'm coming back!

Description
Our establishment (wi-fi free) is an italian Gastronomic Restaurant & Pizzeria. In september 2012 Italian Chamber of Commerce awarded our restaurant as the only "real italian restaurant" in Aix en Provence. Everything is home made by expert real italian cookers. We have many choices for all kind of tastes. Pasta, pizza, homemade fried food, seafood, desserts: so much know how behind...We fluently speak italian, french & english. You will keep an excellent memory of our dinner!
