We cake by car, difficult to find and even more difficult to park! So we where late. After we arriving in the restaurant we bechamelsaus stressed by the staff. Surprisingly bland, uncreative food for what is ostensibly a good restaurant. Everything was just ok, but nothing sparkled. We finished few of our dishes. Plus the setting is downright cheap: paper napkins, wilting plants, rickety metal chairs. Far better food is available at better prices elsewhere. Not worth a visit.

The food here was delicious, beautiful and abundant. The waiter was very helpful and informative. He helped us with our French to English translation and visited with us about our vacation. He was very attentive. We were amazed at the amount of food we got and how well it was presented. Here are the photos of our meal.

The cooking wasn't impressive . I was shocked when the restaurant manager told me that it's how the chef likes it when I complained that part of the sea bass was uncooked. To my knowledge , sea bass is never meant to be eaten raw . If it's the way the chef likes it to be , why only part... More

Our Valentine's lunch at Le Bistrot was very good. The portions were generous and served at the perfect temperature. We opted for the beef and lamb for our main courses. They handled a lot of people at the same time with grace and efficiency. The food was unbelievable. Fresh oysters, a perfectly grilled tuna under a mound of arugula, olives and cherry tomatoes and 2-3 desserts. The wine was excellent. I had the tuna and my wife had the lamb which were quite good. What went terribly wrong was the service. We showed up a little early for our reservation which was when they just opened. My husband and I ate here after recommendation from our holiday landlord. When we arrived we were shown you our table and waited a good twenty minutes before the waiter reappeared with menus. Description
The Bistrot À Côté was created in the fall of 2007. It is located a few steps from the Workshop. Jean-Luc Rabanel drew on his memories of childhood and his early years learning the kitchen to create this open and friendly places. The chief, declined by its culinary philosophy in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. It uses its producers always to reinterpret the everyday traditional dishes, childhood dishes of those who were lucky to have a mother or a grandmother who could cook. Le Bistro joined Gault Millau in 2008 (2 toques) and the Michelin Guide in 2009. In 2013, A Cote was awarded a Bib Gourmand.
