The restaurant is small and beautifully decorated. The food was sensational. We chose the smaller dishes and followed up with desert. The chocolate cake was amazing. So worth a visit. It's helped by an English menu and the host who can speak some English. You'll enjoy it!

We took the tapas approach to dining here, ordering a variety of small plates to share, and were delighted. Everything very tasty. English on the menu made it all very easy. Quiet, maybe because it is on a side street, but very nice atmosphere.

This was among the recommendations given by our hotel hosts, and definitely did not disappoint. My husband named his appetizer, onion pie with toasted foie gras, as his single favorite dish during two weeks in France! The atmosphere is cozy, with good service, despite our lack of French. The staff is just the proprietress and one woman in the kitchen,... More

Fantastic little restaurant off the Main Street. Friendly staff and great attentive service. The food was wonderful, they really know how to utilise herbs to flavour the dishes. The creme brûlée with caramelised strawberries was a delight to eat.

We happened by here recently, looking for something away from the main square. It is cosy and soon began to fill. We had the lamb and the duck for mains and both were excellent. Entrees and dessert were as good. All at a reasonable price. Thoroughly recommend this place.

There are just a few tables here and none outside unfortunately, but the food is wonderful. The house wine was cheap and drinkable. I loved this place.

We have been in France for over 3 weeks, only tonight our expectations were achieved. The food was perfect, tasty, subtle and not expensive. I wish that we had gone here 3 nights ago and slowly worked our way through the menu.

We arranged a reservation at Le Chat Touilleur through our hotel based upon TA reviews but were surprised to find it empty when we arrived at 8pm. After being seated and our wine order taken other patrons started to trickle in and before long the little restaurant came alive. The food and wine at Le Chat Touilleur were prefect examples... I've visited most of the recommended restaurants during my stay in Avignon and i must say this lovely restaurant snagged the first place hands down. It might not be the typical fine dining experience with exotic dishes and expensive meats but it serves authentic provencal cuisine with fresh ingredients. I had the duck fillet for my main dish and it... More

Limited menu, but decent. Nice welcome and good service. Spontaneous after dinner drink offered and welcome. Left feeling good.
