This restaurant is set in a quiet street away from the tourist area. Seating is provided inside and outside. Outside is very pleasant under the growing vines. Inside the times of how the building was used in the past is evident with the machinery tastefully on display. Initially we sat outside - the staff catered by providing blankets when the... More

don't go expecting a quick in and out. as others have noted, the chef marches to his own drum and does things in his own good time. that said, the food is good, some things wonderful. as best I could tell he's more a fan of subtle flavors than over the top big tastes. he's an entertaining fellow who seems... I enjoyed a banquet dinner here with about 40 colleagues, and the evening was excellent all around. The restaurant is in an old factory building, and contains various pieces of equipment left from that era that add charm. The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the staff catered to the dietary restrictions in the group... More

We dined at this wonderful establishment but we ate what Chef/owner Jean-Marc Larrue helped us prepare. We spent the afternoon chopping, stirring, tasting and learning from the Chef! Yes Chef! The ingredients were fresh and the final product was good despite our inexperience cooking food from Provence.

We went there for dinner, on a night that main door was closed, the yard had a big tent with art shop that we crossed to reach a secondary door that brings us to a tale place, with a warm welcome from the owner. Everything that night was perfect. Food was incredible, wine for each meal was perfect. It was... More

We were a group of 15. The chef presented options that suited everyone, which was an accomplishment with such a diverse crowd. The chef and staff made us welcome, in many languages. My meal was one of the best I had in 2 weeks in France. Go here, you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely return.

After spending an incredible afternoon in a cooking class with chef/owner Jean-Marc Larrue, my girlfriend and I sat down to one of the best meals of our lives. The food was inventive, perfectly prepared an beautifully presented in an atmosphere that was warm and welcoming. Thanks so much to Jean-Marc and his lovely wife Sophie for a perfect evening.

Our group of eight friends recently spent a week in Avignon exploring the excellent wine and cuisine of the region. One of the highlights of our visit was the day we spent with Chef Jean Marc Larrue, the charismatic philosopher-chef, as he led us through the experience of fine food from the perspective of the chef as well as from... An outstanding lunch experience, exceptional dinning occasion. Food was beyond spectacular. Exceeded our expectation. Shared Chef Jean Marc's passion for Kentucky Bourbon, with an end of meal drink. Chef presented a marvellous dinning extravaganza. Can't say enough about how memorable Le Jardin de la Tour added to our trip to Avignon.

Ate lunch at Le Jardin during our stay in Avignon. Ordered the plate of the day and enjoyed the meal. A glass of wine included with the plate. Restaurant filled with cast of Medieval show who were all in costume. Made for an interesting time.
