We’ve been coming here for the last four years on vacation and it’s always delicious. The daily specials are great and if you like spaghetti carbonara, they make a really good one. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Take a short walk out of...the old town and try this hidden gem across from Salis beach.More

The pasta dishes are also a must. Pasta Filou is my favorite. Fresh ingredients excellent service and a relaxed atmosphere. As opposed to many places we feel genuinely welcome.

Can’t believe that no ones written a review since our visit 2 years ago. This place is still fantastic! Great specials every day for lunch and dinner. Very good pizza and you can get it to go and eat on the beach across the street,...but then you would miss having fun with the friendliest wait staff in town. Don’t miss this place if your in Antibes, it’s our favorite.More

Ate here 3 times while in Antibes this month. The lunch plat du jour was good. Had Moroccan chicken with cous cous once, and roasted chicken another time. Both really flavorful. Pizzas are also really good here. Nice outdoor terrace to look out to the...beach at this new location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.More

Were dismayed to find the restaurant had closed since last year, but very happy to learn it had just moved to houses down. Better view, more space, otherwise still the place we love to return to,

Came here 2 weeks ago – the Bistro has changed addresses from being on the road side they are now a little further down the street, back from the road with a terrace. We had 3 salads of which 50% was left and a fritto...misto just about edible but really not good. One has the impression that the staff are under pressure. It would seem that the chef is not the same as where they were previously. When will it click that it is the patron who must learn to cook? That way one keeps the same standard of cooking. Unfortunately, one finds only too often in these small restaurants that the quality of cooking has disappointedly changed since last visit and why? Because the cook has left!More

We visited Antibes on the last day of our holiday and to be honest wish we had not bothered. We went for lunch initially at this restaurant and as we went to go inside my husband did not see the waiter was talking to a...couple, he asked for a table of two and was told " when I have finished with this couple I will help you" he then looked at me and sarcastically made way for me and said "madam, if you could pass". We then sat at a table where a lovely local lady chatted to us she went to leave and the asked the waiter if he would clear her table so we could have it as it had a better view. He then said to her not for to tell him his job. We then moved and when he returned with our drinks spoke in french to another lady complaining about us and that we had moved. My husband then said in french that he understood exactly what he was saying and he never responded. Our food was served which was a pasta dish which was utterly tasteless, it was supposed to be Tuna but I got nothing. My husbands steak was so chewy it took him nearly half an hour to eat most of it and then he gave up, no one asked to see how we were enjoying the food at all. The waiter then came to take the plates and asked us how the food was to which my husband said "not good" he responded with the question "not good?" and my husband said "yes, not good" he then cleared the plates and asked us if we now needed the bill. No Manager or anyone came to speak with us. There is not much choice along the beach front but please just wait and eat later. This place is a horrendous for food and customer service.More

Around 300m west from its old location the bistrot has opened in a new bigger space. The great thing is that the vibe is the same as are the prices - long may that continue. It now has views out across the beach and the...bay beyond with ample terrace seating as well as a large airy interior. Food wise it is good with lots of pizza and bruschetta choices as well as other dishes including a menu du jour which is very varied. Worth a wander into!More

Le Bistrot de la Plage has a new home... located just a little further along the Boulevard James Wyllie, at the beginning of Cap D'Antibes, beneath the Tamaca Beach Apartments, with on-road parking available outside. The styling of this restaurant is a little lack lustre,...but the welcome was good and the owner spoke English. As I wanted to compare the food with another Italian restaurant located just a few doors away, I selected the same meal - Lasagne and green salad, with a picher of white wine. My guest ordered the fish of the day, which was Dorade in a white sauce. Both meals came quickly and were hot and well prepared, if perhaps lacking a little style and flourish in the presentation. Saying that the taste and flavour was delicious and I would recommend this restaurant for a casual dinner. We didn't try the desert as it was late.More

Do not believe these reviews people! We have been coming here forever and always get the same reception even when if we haven’t been here for years. Lovely pizza cooked in a proper pizza oven. However Friday nights get busy so be prepared to wait...and trust me it’s worth it. We live locally and this is always our go to place when we arrive and when we leave. Great people very friendly.More

It used to have the best pizza's in town! During high season when tourists float Antibes, the quality of the food is not even close to the 30% of what they try to cook in the winter time. It's sad as it did have a...great reputation! The service doesn't help at all, the dust, the heat and the rudeness is surprising. They treat clients as sheep; -no, if you're wondering that's normal in France as French waiters are just rude, no it's not normal. They are intentionally rude here. The ruder they are the faster you will want to leave and they know it, so the table is freed for the next client! Antibes after all is not a cheap place, you payed good money to arrive here for some real French food which now is more of a legend than true because of these old-school and not evolving places. You leave the place with no intentions to come back and it's very obvious that at this place the staff including the manager are not looking for you to come back, specially when you seem touristy to them. We used to recommend it to friends and definitely no more! Stand to your right to get treated fairly and with respect, and get what you payed for. Don't let these random places ruining your holiday experience you so much looked forward to in the south of France. There's plenty of apps and verified review systems available now to help you find the right place. CheersMore

They are huge and the choice of toppings reflect the fact you are in France. You can expect artichokes and aubergines amongst some of them. Really, really good. (Some traditionalists may object.) Check out the desserts. Eat outside - the road at certain times of...the day can be busy - or eat inside. Couples, families, friends, sailing crews all accommodated. It is popular with locals, too, so get their early. Enjoy home cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. Mmm!More

I understand many pizzerias get creative and will just put anything onto pizza bread and call it a pizza. Most however will at least do the classics right - like the four-seasons. This is what I ordered on our last visit there. What I got...was a vile mix of gooey cheese with some mushrooms, a few olives and a sprinkling of artichokes. No ham at all. Forgot: soggy cooked pepperoni too ... When I pointed out to the manager that this is anything except a four-seasons (four sections of cheese, artichokes, olives and ham) he told me “not to teach him his job”. Never going back there again. Too bad - the setting is nice. They just lost 5 customers for ever.More
