This little restaurant is a must if you are visiting Biot. The place is just marvelous charming with a real authenticity. The food is made of only the best and the freshest products and is a mixture of provençal and italien cuisine. This is the perfect restaurant if you want to find real southern french charm. Not to forget the... More

Our French friends, who live in Golfe-Juan, and know the restaurants in Cote de Provence, took us to the Les Arcades. The quality of food and the service were excellent. We had a carafe of the great local Provencal wine. The family has owned the restaurant for over 60 years and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner (who... More

I've been here a few times since 1966. The same family still runs the place and the food is always good. When I started I was a young student working in Biot and the place was oh so tempting at summer nights with well-dressed guests dining under the arcades. Now I was here with my son's family.

Famous, but cheap and friendly: really, really worth the trip. Come here for a proper French meal: I really enjoyed the herring in olive oil followed by the duck in pepper sauce. The staff have some English, but there were locals visiting as well. The setting is amazing - sit in the arcade if you can - and the village/town... More

We have a holiday home in Valbonne and thought it was time I gave a review on the restaurants in the village. This is by far the most popular restaurant for both French and visitors to Valbonne. Having been going there for 7 years, we have seen many changes. Around 3 or 4 years ago, we felt that the standard... More

Les Arcades is the oldest restaurant in Biot located in the heart of the historical center. This is a Must place to enjoy real traditional Provencal food, made with a thousand flavors of our region. Let yourself entertained by Marco, the son of the founders. He will sing in Italian, he will make you feel happy and of course will... More

Setting perfect, service good (as long as you don't get their backs up). Ok menu but overall food not as good as some other options in the area.

Went along with friends for dinner - staff were really accommodating as we had some last minute additions and the restaurant was busy but they were really cheerful and helpful. Always appreciate the small dishes of olives and pickles offered along with the aperitifs so that was a nice touch. The menu is small - which I prefer as I'm... More

Eating out on the road leading to the church was a pleasant enough experience. The restaurant part of the Hotel had a very good menu choice of delicious dishes including local soups and meats and fish. Overall it was a very good experience and to be recommended. Some of the pricing was quite high for first course dishes.

When welcoming us this place was very friendly. But the food was not at all well cooked - and overpriced. For your own good - go to another restaurant. If you can't find it in Biot - drive to the next city.
