Having visited this restaurant two years ago when we were last staying in Mougins, we were delighted to find Le Petit Provençal in even better shape than when we were last here. The pizza's are great tasting and excellent value and the desserts are very tasty. The service was also very friendly and, unlike a review from last year, very... More

I live in Mougins, and have passed this restau a million times. I finally took the time to explore it last Thurs. A GREAT discovery, The pizza was incredible, and the staff extremely friendly. I'll be BACK, a million times...not just passing it a million times.

If you are undecided about Brexit. Then sample the service in this place. If you are not French don't expect to get the level of service expected by the locals. Our guy did his level best in ignoring us down to the level of not offering us the free appetiser offered to all the locals as son as they arrived.... More

Although the name suggests provencal cuisine, this restaurant was Italian cuisine. Located on the back side of the building and down some stairs from the main street, it had a very cozy feel to it. Being a cool evening, we sat inside. Many restaurants in Provence provide you with an amuse bouche of olive tapenade on French bread and this... More

I ate here the best pizza in the region (veggie) ! Delicious crispy bread and plentiful topping. I had the chance to get to know the owner, he was very friendly and I had an excellent service.

Park right outside the front door, eat great food with the locals - and then be pleasantly surprised by how reasonable it is. Nice choice of fish but we go for the gourmet burger which is a feast in itself with melted cheese, bacon, tomato and a giant burger of freshly ground beef - complete with a fried egg on... More

This little out of the way restaurant can barely be seen from the street, but make it your business to find it and eat there. My wife had pizza and I ordered ravioli. My dish was really good but hers was extraordinary. The waiter didn't speak much English and I didn't speak much French but together we made it work.... More

This restaurant was recommended by our resort in Mougins. Although we struggled with the menu a bit as it was all in French, with the help of the waiter we managed to order. I had grilled salmon which was lovely and my husband had the burger which came with an egg on the top, which again he said was delicious.... More

The food was lovely, the staff polite and helpful. We enjoyed the 22.5 Euro set menu which offers some decent variety of a starter, main and dessert.I would recommend the Chicken Supreme, it was delicious and the potato rostis were define. We sat in a terras at the back of the restaurant which was comfortable and atmospheric. My husband had... More

After a short fall in standards during a change of ownership and complete re-fit, this "family friendly" restaurant is back up to full steam in the highly competitive area of Mougins. A visit with friends from London began with a plate of petit farcis to share, then excellent escalope Milanese with ample pasta for 3 and a huge plate of... More
