I stoppped in today for an espresso. It was pretty good. It was cheap - only one euro. The seat was comfortable and it was a great view of what was going on.

We stopped for coffee and service was good and coffee too. Bathrooms were ok too. There are plenty of choices in the area.

This is an unpretentious restaurant/cafe serving excellent food which is often imaginative with very friendly service. While not perhaps haute cuisine the daurade (sea bream) with lovely hot couscous, which did not taste as if it were from a packet, and baby vegetables was not just tasty, but also good value. Other meals include a very generous salads nicoise and... More

We visited here twice. The breakfast was decent, nothing special but nothing bad either. The second visit was for an early dinner, it was terrific. The beef stew was tender, tasty and a really huge portion for less than €15. What a deal

This has been a favourite of ours in 2013 and 2014. This year we were disappointed on 2 occasions. Steak was the plat du jour which suited us fine. Asked for it medium to rare, got it served 'bien cui' (well done) as the bill showed. It didn't warrant the expensive bottle of wine we went for!!! Just because we... More

It took me awhile to seek out the name of this restaurant, but finally I located it by using google maps (I knew where it was, just had a really hard time figuring out what it was called - even a picture wasn't overly helpful). Regardless, we took an outside table on a windy, cool day - it was well... More

This place is called now called Le Pain Quotidien, so some of the earlier reviews may be out of date. My wife and I spent three days in Nice and ate breakfast here each morning. We favored the group tables on the inside as it was a bit windy outside. This restaurant sits right on the Cours Saleya opposite the... More

We returned to pain a table for breakfast as is usual when we visit nice. The sun was shining and the flower market looked good. Despite it being very busy we were served quickly and with a smile. The continental breakfast is good and the variety of fresh bread is good. I look forward to another breakfast here enjoying watching... More

I visited here twice in June 2013. The first time was for breakfast. I ate there with a friend and we both ordered the meusli breakfast. At around E6.50 it was good value and the breads and jams etc were lovely. The ambience inside is great and is the kind of place I enjoy going to in Australia. The waitress... More
