I suggest that you visit and buy some bread at this fab traditional bakery. One of the last wood ovens left. A true artisan and a lovely man.

Tasty cakes, wonderful bread baked on site, the delicious smell of the freshly baked bread led us to it. We enjoyed meeting the chef baker.

A fairly surly owner, and the produce was so greasy that it was hard to finish. This being a country where you can swear by the quality of their bakeries.

An artisanal bakery which cooks its bread in a wood fired oven - the last for bread in the Vieux Nice! Over 40 types of bread including sourdough, organic and specials, all of which are available every day. Bread is cooked several times a day, ensuring that there is always fresh, hot bread recently baked, even in the evenings.
